You will receive a brief training and you will be able to choose the route with the help of a professional skipper. You decide the duration: 2, 3, 4 or 8 hours of freedom in the Atlantic. All you have to do is get on board and enjoy.
What we will do
The appointment will be 20 minutes before the booked time at the meeting point in Puerto Colón. The professional skipper will be waiting for you there to sign the contract and give you a briefing about the activity.
Once on board the Idea 53 boat, he will explain the handling of the boat and the safety rules. After the explanation, he will accompany you and your group during the first few minutes of sailing, while you leave the port, until you feel comfortable at the helm.
He will give you tips on the best areas to visit, such as Playa Paraiso or Diego Hernandez, and will recommend you to head north, where the sea is usually calmer. You will be able to go up to 2 nautical miles away while sailing close to the coast, exploring at your own pace.
You will spend unforgettable moments aboard a 5-metre boat, with capacity for 6 people. For your comfort, it is equipped with awning, fridge, bluetooth music system and snorkelling mask.
You will return to Puerto Colón after 2, 3, 4 or 8 hours of sailing, depending on the option chosen during the booking.

The activity is suitable for all ages. In order to rent and drive the boat you must be of legal age.
Minors must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
It is not possible to take a wheelchair on board, but people with mobility problems can board with the assistance of the other participants.

The boat is available all year round. It will be possible to arrange a departure time with the boat owner depending on the duration of the charter. You will receive his contact details in the booking confirmation email.
You will sail on a 5 metre Idea 53 boat with a 15 hp engine. You will be able to share the experience with up to 5 friends or family members, as the capacity is for 6 people.
It is necessary to leave a deposit of 100 euros, in cash or with credit card withholding.
On board you will need to be barefoot.
It is not compulsory to be able to swim.
It will be possible to participate with dogs, but it is necessary to be responsible for their behaviour and to ensure that they are used to this type of activity.
In the vicinity of the meeting point there are 2 paid car parks. There is also a bus stop 5 minutes walk away.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
