Sail, fish and enjoy the Mediterranean at its purest.
Get on board a sailing boat in Barcelona' s Olympic Port and discover trolling fishing on a 4-hour trip. As the boat moves smoothly along, you'll learn this technique of fishing on the move and, with luck, you'll catch your own catch.
Get your strength back by relaxing on deck with a drink and a snack, while you gaze at the Barcelona skyline from the sea. At the end of the activity, you'll be able to take home the day's catch as a souvenir of a unique experience.
What we will do
Our meeting point will be at the Olympic Port of Barcelona. It is not necessary to arrive in advance, but we must be very punctual.
We will board the boat and, before setting sail, the skipper will give us a briefing on basic safety aspects. Afterwards, we will head out into the Mediterranean waters to begin our recreational fishing adventure on a sailboat. During the trip we will be able to see places such as the Sagrada Familia or Tibidabo from the boat. If we are curious travellers, the skipper will act as our guide and will explain details and curiosities about the city and its history.
Then we'll move on to the most important part: learning how to fish by trolling. The skipper will teach us this trawling technique, which is done from the boat itself. After a bit of theory, we can try our luck while we listen to curiosities about the fauna of the area.
We will have a snack on board the boat while we enjoy the tranquillity that only the sea can offer and, if we wish, we can stop for a dip. We will return to the starting point and we will be able to take home the day's catch.
The sailing trip will last a total of 4 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone. You don't need to know how to swim, there are life jackets on board.
There is no minimum age to participate in the sailing and babies also count as a place on board.
In the case of people with mobility problems, the boat can be brought to within a few centimetres of the quay so that they can get on board. However, a wheelchair would not fit on board.

The activity takes place all year round every day and the maximum capacity of the boat is 7 people.
Paid parking is available in the vicinity of the harbour. It can also be easily reached by public transport (metro, bus or tram).
We will sail on a Beneteau Oceanis Clipper 343 sailing boat of 30 hp with a length of 10.8 metres. The boat is equipped with toilets, showers and bathing ladders.
It is possible to participate as a companion, but the price of the activity will be the same. It is not advisable to take dogs on board for this activity.
You will be able to take your catch home with you.
The food can be adapted to people with allergies or intolerances, you will receive the contact details of the organiser in the booking confirmation email. You can also bring your own food, as there are fridges on board.
The planned itinerary may change on the fly depending on the weather.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
