Ready to get wet on one of the most exciting descents in the Pyrenees?
This section of rafting between Llavorsí and Sort is the most popular for a clear reason: it concentrates most of the rapids of the Noguera Pallaresa, it is the longest of half a day... and the only one that goes all the way to Sort.
18 kilometres of white water, jumps, unexpected turns and waves that will make you laugh. Perfect for beginners with a taste for action and for experienced adventurers, this route combines fun, safety and spectacular mountain scenery.
Get ready to paddle, laugh, soak it up and want to do it again.
What we will do
The appointment is at 10:00 in Sort, at the meeting point where we will manage the documentation and pick up the necessary technical material. Afterwards, we will follow the guides in our own car for about 30 minutes until we reach the car park, located near the end of the ravine.
From there, we will make an approach walk of about 20 minutes to the beginning of the canyon. Once at the entrance, the instructors will give a safety and technical briefing of about 15 minutes... and the adventure begins!
For approximately 2 hours we will cover the most intense 18 km of the Noguera Pallaresa, facing level 3-4 rapids such as "La Rentadora" or "Pas de l'Àngel". Between one rapid and another, we will also have moments of calm where we will be able to float, enjoy the landscape and the freshness of the water.
If conditions permit, we will have the opportunity to jump over a dam: a spectacular manoeuvre that will make your adventure even more unforgettable. And finally, we will cross the Sort competition canal, the scene of freestyle world championships.
The section ends very close to the facilities, so we'll walk back to the changing rooms. The whole experience lasts about 3 hours, including preparation, transport and the descent.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is easy and suitable as a first rafting experience for children aged 8 and over. Children must be accompanied by an adult or, from the age of 12, they can participate on their own as long as they present an authorisation signed by their legal guardians.
It is necessary to know how to swim to participate.
The experience is not suitable for pregnant women. The experience is not accessible for people with mobility problems.
Other information
The experience takes place from March to October and is confirmed when a minimum number of 4 participants is reached.
The facilities have changing rooms complete with showers. There are no lockers, but valuables can be safely left at reception.
Accompanying persons not taking part in the activity can wait comfortably in the facilities, which have a bar, swimming pool, children's playground and babysitting service available on request (at an additional cost).

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
