Full description
Dare to descend the most powerful rapids of the Valencian Community in the spectacular Estrecho de Chillapájaros.
You will travel along the river Mijares aboard an inflatable raft, crossing jumps, rapids and exciting currents.
All in complete safety, accompanied at all times by expert guides in a 3.5 hour activity.
What we will do
We will meet at the indicated time in Montanejos, in the province of Castellón. There, the guides will welcome us and provide us with the necessary equipment : wetsuit, helmet, waistcoat, water shoes and paddles.
After a first logistical briefing of about 5 minutes, we will take about 30 minutes to get properly equipped. Once we are ready, we will get into the organisation's vans and drive about 7 minutes to the starting point of the descent.
At the start of the route we will receive a second technical briefing of about 10 minutes, in which the guides will explain how to behave during the descent, the safety rules and the basic manoeuvres for tackling the rapids.
We will begin the 2 km descent down the Mijares River, overcoming a total drop of 20 metres. We will navigate through rapids such as "The Jungle", "El Patriarca" and "Slide", enjoying areas of intense currents, waves and optional jumps.
The guides will also propose some games and boardings during the trip, always adapted to the level of the group. At the end of the descent, the vans will pick us up to take us back to the base, where we can change.
The activity will last a total of 3.5 hours, including briefing, preparation, travel and descent of the river.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for children aged 8 and over; minors must be accompanied by an adult or present a signed authorisation .
It is compulsory to know how to swim.
Pregnant women, people with incompatible illnesses or allergies to neopreneare not allowed to participate .
Other information
The activity is available from April to October and is confirmed with a minimum of 6 participants.
The facilities include a beach bar, changing rooms with outdoor showers and a locker for personal belongings.
Accompanying persons who do not participate can wait on the premises, where dogs on leads are also allowed.
The meeting point is not accessible by public transport, but there is free parking.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
