If you've ever wondered what bees do when no one is looking. .. today you're going to find out!
Walk along ancient paths, visit a small oasis of butterflies and get close to an apiary to learn about the work of bees up close in a private experience of 2 h 30 min to 3 h, with a delicious final tasting of local honey from La Gomera.
What we will do
You will meet 10 minutes before the agreed time at the meeting point in Alajeró, in the south of La Gomera, where you will be met by your guide to begin a private experience as curious as it is delicious. After a brief welcome, you will begin a leisurely walk along the old paths of the area, discovering the flowers that feed the bees and discovering the answers to those questions that always intrigue: how much honey does a bee produce, how long does it live, why is it so essential?
During the tour you will make a stop at a small oasis of butterflies, a vibrant corner of life where you will learn about their role in the ecosystem of Gomera.
Then comes the most special moment: the apiary. The beekeeper will be waiting for you there to show you how organic beekeeping works. And if you feel like it, you can put on a beekeeper's suit to safely get up close to the hives and observe the impressive work of its inhabitants.
To round off the experience in style, you'll head to the tasting area, where you'll sample local honeys, made by the very bees you've just met . A sweet, peaceful end with a strong taste of nature.
The whole experience lasts approximately 2 and a half to 3 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for all ages. No previous knowledge is required.
The minimum age to participate in the visit to the winery and the wine tasting is 5 years old.
Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
It is suitable for pregnant women, but not for people with reduced mobility or wheelchair users, as part of the tour is over uneven terrain.
Other information
The activity is available all year round, every day, and takes place in private groups of 1 to 8 people. The price is 140 € for groups of 1 to 4 people and 230 € for groups of 5 to 8 people.
The tour is available in English, Spanish and German. Please inform the organisers in advance which language you would like to do the tour in.
Non-participating companions can wait in the vicinity.
Free parking is available at the meeting point. It is not possible to get there by public transport.
Important advice: as this is an island, and as the weather can cause date changes, it is advisable to book in advance to ensure availability in case of rescheduling.
Pets are not allowed.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
