Give this private surfing lesson a go on the coast of Llanes, tailor-made to help you get started or refine your technique. On the beaches of Celorio, you’ll have a qualified instructor entirely focused on your movements, correcting every paddle in real time and choosing the best waves for you. An intensive 2-hour session where you’ll progress at your own pace, free from external pressure.

What we will do

Please arrive 15 minutes before the agreed time at the meeting point at Palombina Beach in Celorio, Llanes (the exact location may vary depending on sea conditions, so the guide will confirm the best beach the day before) . There, you’ll be welcomed by your dedicated instructor for the session. After introductions, they’ll provide you with top-quality equipment: a wetsuit, a life jacket and a surfboard suited to your height and skill level.

Before heading into the water, you’ll spend the first 30 minutes on a technical and warm-up session on the sand. As the lesson is 100% personalised, the programme will be tailored to your abilities. If you’re beginners, you’ll learn the safety rules step by step, how to read the currents, and practise your stance and paddling technique to achieve the ‘pop-up’ movement smoothly and without pressure. If you already have experience, the instructor will go over the technical details needed to refine your style.

You’ll then head out to sea to ride the best breaks on the Cantabrian coast. With an instructor exclusively at your disposal, your progress will be rapid. The instructor will accompany you at all times, selecting the sets best suited to your level, giving you a push at just the right moment if you need it, and offering immediate corrections after each wave. You’ll progress at your own pace, without comparisons to other groups and eliminating any risk of collisions with other boards.

After completing an intense session tailored entirely to your needs, you’ll emerge from the sea with sea salt on your skin and the satisfaction of having mastered the waves. The activity lasts a total of 2 hours.

Who it is aimed at

The activity is suitable for all levels, from complete beginners to those looking to improve or at an advanced level.

The minimum age for participation is 9 years.

Due to the nature of the activity, it is not recommended for pregnant women or people with reduced mobility.

Pets are not permitted.

Other information

The experience is available all year round, from Monday to Sunday, with flexible timings tailored to each booking.

IMPORTANT: The times of the activity depend directly on the tides and weather conditions. Furthermore, the meeting point may vary depending on sea conditions. It is essential to contact the organisers at least 24 hours in advance to confirm the exact time and location.

The session can be booked individually, as a couple or for private groups.

Parking is available in the area (either paid or free, depending on the time of year) . It is recommended that you arrive well in advance to park without any hassle. During the summer, some bus services operate, but they run very infrequently for the rest of the year.

The main meeting point is at Palombina Beach in Celorio, although , depending on sea conditions, the session may be moved to other beaches in the municipality, such as Torimbia or San Martín.

At Palombina Beach, changing rooms and showers are available for participants.
