Do you want to discover the Albufera in a different way? Get on a traditional boat just for you and whoever you want. .. With a luxury menu on board!
Discover an authentic barraca, sail between canals surrounded by nature and enjoy a feast on board: tasty starters, paella, dessert and drinks. Enjoy an intimate and fun 2-hour experience, with stories and secrets told by local boatmen.
What we will do
The appointment will be 15 minutes before the agreed time at the meeting point in the Albufera Valenciana, right on the shore of the lake. There you will be met by the boatman, who will be your guide during the experience.
But before you get on the boat, you will make a special stop: you will visit an authentic barraca, the traditional house of the fishermen of the area, where you will be able to see how the inhabitants lived (and some still live) in this unique corner of Valencia.
Then, yes, you will board a traditional 12-metre-long albuferenc , a typical boat built by hand, for 1 hour and start sailing through the canals surrounded by vegetation. You will pass through the famous Sequiota, one of the most important and oldest canals, and you will move forward among birds, reeds and living nature. If you are lucky, you will see ducks, herons, cormorants, marsh harriers. .. and even flamingos if they are in season.
There, the boatman will leave the boat at anchor for you to enjoy an intimate meal in total privacy for 1 hour. Everything will be already prepared on board, with a delicious menu that includes: starters to share (such as toasted bread with tomato and chili-oil, seasonal salad, homemade croquettes, esgarraet and cheese board ) . For the main course, you will have to choose beforehand a single option for the whole group between Valencian paella, seafood paella, arroz a banda or arroz del senyoret. For dessert, a seasonal sweet. And to drink, one drink per person ( water, soft drink, beer or wine ) .
After lunch, the boatman will come back to pick you up to take you back to the pier, sailing again through the quiet canals of the Albufera.
In total it will be 2 hours of disconnection, flavour and nature. A private, relaxed experience, perfect for sharing something special.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone without age limit; minors (up to 15 years old) must be accompanied by a responsible adult. 16 to 17 year olds may participate with a signed authorisation.
The boat is not accessible for wheelchair users or people with reduced mobility.

The activity takes place all year round, from Monday to Friday.
Children under 3 years old do not pay admission.
For the main course, you will have to choose in advance a single option for the whole group: Valencian paella, seafood paella, arroz a banda or arroz del senyoret. You can let the organisers know in advance using the contact details in the booking confirmation email.
You will be on board a typical Albufera boat or albuferenc, 12 metres long. A shallow draft boat with no keel. Initially, to leave the jetty, you will use the traditional perch to push off from the bottom, and then continue sailing with the motor.
Dogs are allowed on board.
Free parking is available at the meeting point.
You can also get there by public transport with bus line no. 24 of the EMT.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
