Enjoy a 3-hour private mountain bike route through the Lozoya Valley. Accompanied by a local guide, you will ride along flat trails and postcard-perfect landscapes in an experience designed exclusively for your group.

What we will do
The guide will meet you punctually at the meeting point in Lozoya, in the heart of the Sierra Norte de Madrid. After the initial introductions, you will receive your mountain bike and helmet, and attend a brief introduction on bike handling and safety. Once you are ready, you will set off for a 3 hour adventure in the Lozoya Valley.
Although you can choose the route that best suits you, the most common route is the one between Lozoya and Rascafría, a stretch with very little gradient that combines sections of asphalt and dirt roads. You will ride through spectacular landscapes, passing through Pinilla del Valle and Oteruelo del Valle, until you reach magical spots such as the Finnish Forest, the Bridge of Forgiveness or the Monastery of El Paular.
Along the way, there will be strategic stops to enjoy the surroundings and to get to know emblematic spots. The route will be circular, so after completing the 14 kilometres to Rascafría, you will return to the starting point in Lozoya to finish this natural immersion.
The activity will cover a total of 28 km and will last 3 hours.
Who it is aimed at
Children must be at least 1. 45 metres tall and be able to ride a mountain bike. Children must be able to pedal without wheels or assistance.
If you want to participate with children up to 20 kg, please check in advance the availability of seats (extra cost of 5 euros) . You will receive the contact details in the booking confirmation email.
Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
The bicycles are not accessible for people with motor disabilities.
If you are pregnant or have any medical condition that raises doubts about the suitability of the experience, please consult your doctor.
Other information
It is possible to do the activity all year round.
Important: the activity will not be cancelled due to bad weather, as it can also be carried out in rainy weather.
The timetable is flexible, conditioned only by the hours of sunshine.
There are two models of mountain bikes, Scott and Orbea. The allocation will be based on availability.
As soon as you receive confirmation of your booking, let the guide know the height of each member of your group. You will receive the contact details in the booking confirmation email.
Accompanying persons who do not participate will find services and other activities in the surrounding area.
There is free parking near the meeting point; in high season, there is also a daily fee. Although there is a bus from Madrid that leaves from Plaza Castilla, it is not recommended.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is very strict. You get a full refund if you cancel within 31 days from the activity start date. Within 30 and 15 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
