Who said you have to swim in slow motion to explore the ocean? It’s time to switch on the Turbo underwater.
Enjoy a private session with a Sublue underwater scooter for a total of 1 hour in the waters off Sitges, perfect for 1 or 2 people. Holding this lightweight yet incredibly powerful handheld device, you’ll glide across the surface or underwater, reaching speeds of up to 10 km/h whilst discovering the vibrant marine life of the Costa Dorada. If there are two of you, you’ll share the equipment and take turns using the Sublue to double the fun in the water.
What we will do
You will be met around 15 minutes before the scheduled time at the meeting point in Sitges, Barcelona, to begin preparations. There, you will be kitted out with all the compulsory safety equipment, consisting of a lifejacket (as well as a wetsuit if weather conditions require it) . You’ll then walk a few steps towards the moorings to board the RIB.
You’ll head out to the open sea whilst your instructor gives you a detailed explanation of safety procedures and how to operate the device intuitively. Once you reach the ideal spot, you’ll launch into the sea to carry out the initial control tests. What you do in the water will depend on how many of you there are: if there’s just one participant, they’ll enjoy the whole experience on their own, but if there are two of you, you’ll take turns on the scooter, gliding at full speed across the surface or diving down to discover the Costa Dorada in a different way. The guide will supervise you at all times from the support boat whilst you try to spot the local marine life; some lucky participants have even seen rays and dolphins, depending on what the sea decides to reveal that day.
You’ll return to the boat after making the most of around 50 minutes of activity on the Sublue, feeling the total freedom to decide your own course and speed. You’ll then set off back to the harbour, rounding off an exciting experience lasting 1 hour in total.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for beginners. The instructor will adjust the intensity and pace to suit you.
The minimum age to take part is 12 years. All minors must be accompanied by an adult when taking part in the activity.
It is not strictly necessary to know how to swim, but it is essential that you feel comfortable and at ease in the water.
If you are taller than 1. 90 m, weigh more than 100 kg, or are a very small and light person, you will need to contact the organisers in advance to confirm that they have the appropriate equipment.
This activity is not recommended for pregnant women.
If you have reduced mobility, you will only be permitted to swim on the surface of the water whilst wearing a life jacket; however, we do not recommend taking part.
Other information
The experience is available every day from May to October, starting at 9. 00 am, with the last session of the day at 6. 30 pm.
This is a private activity for a group of 1 or 2 participants.
If you’re coming by car, the harbour has a large paid car park. You can also get there easily by public transport using the bus service.
A maximum of one accompanying person is permitted on board the support boat to take photos and enjoy the boat trip.
Pets are not permitted.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is last minute. You get a full refund if you cancel within 24 hours from the activity start. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
