Explore the bowels of a mythical place.
Enjoy a private caving and canyoning experience in the Cueva de Valporquero, in León. During the tour, you will explore one of the most beautiful underground watercourses in Europe, combining the technique of canyoning with the magic of caving in a breathtaking natural environment.
Dare to discover what the depths hide; it will be an unforgettable adventure.
What we will do
You and your group will meet your guide at the meeting point in Vegacervera about 10 minutes before the booking time. There, you will be given the necessary equipment, sign the documentation and attend an introduction to the adventure that awaits you.
Once you are ready, you will travel about 10 minutes by private car to the entrance of the cave to start the descent. You will go into the depths of Valporquero, going through one of the most impressive underground watercourses in Europe for about 3 hours, an authentic Leonese jewel that combines caving with technical canyoning.
The guide, with great experience in both disciplines, will watch over your safety and comfort at all times, completing the explanations about the activity and helping you to overcome all the obstacles.
After completing the route, you will make a 10-minute return journey with the guide until you get back to the vehicles.
The total duration of the experience is approximately 4 hours.
Who it is aimed at
No experience is necessary, but it is advisable to be an active person.
Minors can participate from the age of 14 accompanied by a responsible adult or with the authorisation of a legal guardian.
People with vertigo or claustrophobia should bear in mind that it starts with a 20-metre abseil and there are some narrow sections.
It is not recommended for pregnant women.
The activity is not accessible for people with motor disabilities.
It is advisable to know how to swim.
Inform the guide of any possible pathologies and, if you have any doubts about the suitability of the experience, consult your doctor.

The meeting point is in the immediate vicinity of the cave; please note that there will be no changing rooms or areas for changing or storing personal belongings.
Free parking is available at the meeting point . It is not possible to reach the area by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is strict. You get a full refund if you cancel within 15 days from the activity start date. Within 14 and 8 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
