Enjoy a 1 hour and a half private SUP lesson, a totally personalised plan that's perfect whether you want to start from scratch or if you're looking to polish your technique. Accompanied by a qualified instructor exclusively for you, you'll learn the best stability tricks, perfect your paddling and glide safely through the heart of the Costa Brava.
What we will do
You will be met 15 minutes before the agreed time at the meeting point in Platja d'Aro, Girona. After being welcomed by your instructor, you will receive all the necessary equipment: the most stable paddle surf board for your weight, the paddle adapted to your height, the obligatory life jacket and a wetsuit if the water temperature requires it. Before getting wet, you will attend a brief safety and technique briefing on the sand where you will be taught the essential tricks to stand up and handle the paddle correctly.
Once the theory is clear, it's time to hit the water. Your instructor will guide you step by step to make the entry into the sea smooth and comfortable. Once on the board, you will begin to practice your balance in a calm water area. As you gain confidence, you'll begin to paddle parallel to the beautiful coastline of Platja d'Aro, enjoying smooth sailing while you observe the iconic landscapes of the Costa Brava from a totally privileged perspective.
Throughout the session, you will be corrected in real time to improve your posture and make progress fun and effortless. After enjoying the breeze, the exercise and the sea, you will gently paddle back to the starting point. On the shore, you will return the equipment and conclude a fantastic experience of 1 hour and a half in total (including preparations and learning) with the incredible sensation of having tamed the Mediterranean.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is suitable for beginners who want to learn safely, as well as for paddlers looking to perfect their technique.
The minimum age to participate is 8 years old.
It is recommended that you know how to swim in order to enjoy the experience with complete peace of mind, although the use of a life jacket is compulsory.
This experience is not adapted for people with reduced mobility.
Other information
The experience is available from March to November. From March to August, classes are held from Monday to Sunday with shifts from 9: 00 a. m. to 5: 00 p. m. (last class) . From September to the end of November, the activity operates exclusively at weekends.
Classes are private, with a maximum number of 2 participants per instructor to ensure optimal learning.
The meeting point has lockers for your belongings and public showers on the beach. There are no private changing rooms.
In high season (June to September) the nearest car park is payable; the rest of the year it is free of charge. You can also reach the beach easily by public transport and walk a few minutes from the bus stop.
By local beach regulations, pets are not allowed.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is very strict. You get a full refund if you cancel within 31 days from the activity start date. Within 30 and 15 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
