Two boards, two waves. .. and the same adventure in Tarifa.
Learn to surf in Tarifa in a personalised way with a private lesson for two people. Under the watchful eye of an expert instructor, you'll become familiar with techniques such as pop-up and paddling and you'll be able to ride your first waves, connecting with the energy of the Atlantic.
A perfect plan to share, learn and laugh between waves. And watch out, you'll be hooked.
What we will do
The instructor will meet you 5 minutes before your booking time at the meeting point in front of the beach in Tarifa. After a quick introduction and receiving the equipment, you will move from the car park to the beach.
You will walk with the boards to the shore, where you will start by discussing the sea conditions of the day. You will attend a full briefing on the activity and safety rules that will prepare you for what awaits you in the water.
On the sand, you'll warm up and learn the basic movements and techniques that will allow you to ride your first waves: how to paddle in the lying position, the transition phase and the pop-up that will allow you to take off!
Once in the water, the instructor will guide you from the wave zone, giving you constant feedback to correct your posture and improve your speed and turn control. Even if it's your first time, Tarifa's sea won't resist you!
You will finish with a necessary stretching session before saying goodbye. The total duration of the experience is about 2 hours.
Who it is aimed at
No experience is necessary and participation is open to children aged 5 and over.
Children under 14 years of age must be accompanied by a responsible adult. From 15 years of age it is possible to participate with the authorisation of a legal guardian.
It is not compulsory to know how to swim.
Pregnant women are not recommended.
It is not accessible for people with motor disabilities.
If you have any doubts about the suitability of the experience, consult your doctor.
Other information
The class is available from April to October.
Depending on the sea conditions, it may be necessary to change beaches and move to Valdevaqueros or Algeciras. The instructor will advise you in advance of any changes.
Please note that there are no changing rooms or lockers on site. You can leave your personal belongings in the instructor's van.
Non-participating companions may stay on the beach and watch the class as spectators or take a walk around the area.
This is not a dog-friendly beach, but dogs are usually allowed in the area if they are on a leash and well behaved.
During the activity some souvenir photos are usually taken.
Free parking is available on the beach. The bus station is about 10 minutes walk away.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
