Fasten your seatbelt and let the Pyrenees tell you its secrets on a private route through the Posets viewpoints.
Drive through mountain villages such as San Juan de Plan and Gistaín, travel through forests and follow the course of the river Zinqueta while you discover the history, geology and rural life that shaped these valleys.
A 4-hour experience among breathtaking landscapes, tradition and pure nature.
What we will do
You will meet 10 minutes before the agreed time at the meeting point, where you will be met by your guide and the 4x4 vehicle with which the adventure will begin. After a brief introduction, you will start the journey through the Posets-Maladeta Natural Park, an area of great geological and scenic wealth that is home to the second highest peak in the Pyrenees, the majestic Posets, at an altitude of 3, 369 metres.
Along the way, the 4x4 will take you along mountain roads and old forest tracks, passing alongside the river Zinqueta, the real protagonist of this route. As you ascend, the landscape will open up with spectacular views of the valleys and the imposing peaks of Posets and its surroundings. If conditions permit, the guide will suggest optional short walks to take you to some natural viewpoints from where you can contemplate the grandeur of the Pyrenees.
In addition to nature, this excursion will allow you to discover the rural life of the area. You will visit charming mountain villages such as San Juan de Plan or Gistaín, where the traditions and spirit of the old mountain people are still preserved. On the way you will see bordas, those small stone and wood constructions that were once used to keep livestock or store fodder, and you will pass by an old sawmill, testimony to the ancient timber industry that shaped these valleys.
The guide will tell you stories about the people who inhabited these mountains, their trades, their customs and their relationship with the environment. You will also learn about the geology of the area and how the folds of the mountains tell the story of the formation of the Pyrenees.
In total, you will experience 4 hours of nature, history and local culture, in a private experience that combines spectacular landscapes, living traditions and the thrill of travelling the paths of the Posets in a 4x4.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for all ages, but it is not advisable to participate with children under the age of 1.
Minors may participate accompanied by a responsible adult.
Pregnant women may participate at their own risk. They must inform the organisers in advance of their condition.
People with reduced mobility who only need assistance to get on or off the 4x4 can participate, but must inform the organisers in advance.

The guide will adapt the experience according to your preferences: you can choose to spend more time hiking or enjoy the 4x4 tour for longer. This is a personalised experience.
The meeting point is not accessible by public transport. Free parking is available on site.
It is necessary to communicate in advance the age of all participants in order to adapt the experience and provide the appropriate equipment.
Baby seats are available (from 0 to 18 kg and with backrest for older children) . If a baby (over 1 year old) is participating, you must inform the organisers in advance.
Pets are allowed to participate, depending on their type and size (additional cost) . It is important to contact the organisers in advance to assess, depending on the time of year, if it is possible to bring them.
A mountain taxi service is available for pick-up and drop-off at a cost of approximately €0. 78/km. To book this service, please contact the organisers directly.
The tour is conducted in English or Spanish. You will need to tell the organisers in advance which language you prefer to do the experience in.
In case of bad weather, the organisers may propose an alternative route through nearby areas of natural and geological interest, accessible only by 4x4 vehicle.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
