Full description
Experience the magic of the Pineta Valley on a private 4x4 route with views of Monte Perdido.
Let yourself be carried away by mountain tracks, contemplate millenary glaciers, waterfalls and hanging forests. Breathe fresh air and contemplate one of the most impressive landscapes in the Pyrenees.
A 4-hour guided experience that combines nature, serenity and amazement at every stop.
What we will do
The appointment is 10 minutes before the agreed time at the meeting point in Escalona, Huesca. Your guide will be waiting for you there, who will accompany you throughout the experience and adapt the route to your pace and curiosity.
You will begin the route by entering the high part of the valley, an area of breathtaking beauty and accessible to everyone, even those who prefer not to walk too far. As you ascend the mountain tracks, the landscape will open up before you, revealing the north face of Monte Perdido, the highest peak of the Ordesa y Monte Perdido National Park. Weather and clouds permitting, you can even admire its millenary glacier, still alive, a natural jewel that tells the story of thousands of years of ice and rock.
The ascent by 4x4 will take you up to an altitude of 2, 100 metres, from where you will contemplate one of the most imposing walls in Europe: more than 2 kilometres of vertical drop, with waterfalls, hanging forests and the unmistakable silhouette of Monte Perdido dominating the horizon. An authentic natural spectacle that UNESCO has recognised as one of the deepest and most spectacular valleys on the continent.
During the route you will make several stops to enjoy the surroundings, breathe in the fresh air and, if you feel like it, take a short guided walk (simple and optional) to see the alpine flora and medicinal plants that grow at these heights up close. In the spring and summer, the meadows are dyed in bright colours, offering a landscape that is as serene as it is photogenic.
In total, you will experience 4 hours of nature, learning and beauty at every step: a private, quiet and deeply inspiring experience to discover the wild soul of the Aragonese Pyrenees.
