Enter the Bardenas Reales in a private 4×4 and discover a desert that seems to be from another planet.
Travel through canyons, badlands and film sets with an official guide who will reveal its geology, fauna and legends. Enjoy an exclusive 3-hour experience of landscapes, comfort and adventure at your own pace.
What we will do
You will meet your guide at the agreed time at the meeting point in the south of Navarre, where your private 4×4 vehicle will be waiting for you, spacious and fully equipped to travel through the Bardenas Reales in total comfort. After a brief welcome, you will settle into the off-road vehicle and begin to explore the authorised trails of this Biosphere Reserve.
After a few minutes you will feel the change of scenery: from the fertile valleys of the Ebro you will move on to the semi-desert scenery of the Bardena Blanca, a world of badlands, canyons, clay cuts and formations that seem to have been carved by another planet. During the tour you will make several stops to get a close-up view of fairy chimneys, eroded ravines and some of the places that have been used as settings for series and films.
Your official guide will reveal the geology, fauna, flora and legends that have given identity to this unique territory. You will understand how wind and water have shaped these hillsides for thousands of years, and you will learn stories of shepherds, transhumance and rural life in an environment as beautiful as it is austere.
As you advance, you will also cross areas where the olive groves and vineyards of the Queiles and Alhama rivers contrast, reminding you of the close relationship between the Bardenas and the fertile lands that surround it. Each section is adapted to your pace, with panoramic stops to take pictures of the most impressive landscapes along the route.
After exploring the most characteristic corners of the park, you will return along the authorised tracks to the starting point, completing a private, comfortable and deeply inspiring experience.
In total, you will experience 3 hours of nature, geology and adventure, discovering the Bardenas Reales as very few people get to know them.

The activity is suitable for all ages.
Minors can participate accompanied by a responsible adult.
Suitable for people with reduced mobility or in wheelchairs, as the vehicle allows easy access and the route adapts to all needs.

The experience is available all year round.
Minimum 1 vehicle per booking (4 participants) . Maximum 2 vehicles (8 participants) .
The meeting point may vary according to conditions; it will be confirmed after the booking. It can be in Tudela or at the Tourist Information Centre of Bardenas Reales.
If you are travelling with small children who need a pushchair or booster seat, you can ask the organisers in advance. You will find their contact details in your booking confirmation email.
The Bardenas Reales is a protected area: the activity takes place only on authorised paths.
There is also the option of adding a gourmet aperitif or a Navarran wine tasting, both at an additional cost of €25 per person.
Parking is available in the area .
Pets are allowed: if they are restrained with a safety buckle they occupy one seat; if they are in a carrier in the boot, they do not occupy a seat and there is no additional cost.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
