Get ready for a miniature explorer's mission: discover nature on the back of a pony.
This 35-minute experience is designed for the little ones. They will meet the ponies, brush them and enjoy a 20-minute ride through the fields of Tibi, among pine and almond trees and views of the Peña Migjorn. A quiet, safe and nature-filled adventure.
What we will do
We will meet 15 minutes before the agreed time at the equestrian centre in Tibi, in Hoya de Alcoy, where we will be met by the monitors. Upon arrival, we will meet the ponies, calm, docile animals used to dealing with children, ideal for the little ones to live their first experience on horseback in a safe and fun way.
Before setting off on the route, we will go together to the pony area, where the children will be able to brush them and see how they are groomed. This first contact helps them to gain confidence and become familiar with their new companion.
Afterwards, the monitor will explain in a simple way how to ride and guide the pony, and will accompany them for a ride of about 20 minutes along the rural paths at the foot of the Sierra del Maimón. The route passes through pine trees, holm oaks and fields of almond and olive trees, with gentle ascents and descents that allow you to enjoy the surroundings at your leisure. In the distance, the silhouette of Peña Migjorn looms in the distance.
During the ride, children can feel like little explorers, observe the landscape and stop to take photos with their adventure companion. On returning to the riding centre, the smile and the emotion of the moment will be the best memory of this experience of approximately 35 minutes, which includes the preparation, the ride and the farewell to their new four-legged friend.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for children from 3 to 7 years of age. Children under 7 years of age can participate accompanied by a responsible adult.
The activity is easy, ideal for a first pony ride.
If you have reduced mobility or use a wheelchair, participation is possible, but you must inform the organisers in advance. You will receive the contact details in your booking confirmation email.
Other information
The activity is available all year round, from Wednesday to Sunday.
The saddle used is English.
Free parking is available on site.
The meeting point is not accessible by public transport.
Pets are allowed on a lead, although walking with dogs that are not used to ponies is not recommended. In any case, advance notice must be given.
Accompanying persons can join in by walking along the route or wait at the equestrian centre.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
