Take a break from screens for a day: it’s time to meet Barbie, Caramelo, Nube and Sunny.
In the heart of the Collserola Natural Park, little ones aged 2 to 8 can ride their first pony and spend 30 minutes exploring peaceful mountain trails, guided on foot by you. A fun-filled day out for the little ones to bond with the animals, give them a carrot as a treat and breathe in the fresh air just a stone’s throw from Barcelona.
What we will do
We ’ll meet 15 minutes before the agreed time at the meeting point at the riding centre, set within the stunning surroundings of the Collserola Natural Park. There, the team will welcome us and explain the route details. As this isn’t a guided tour led by an instructor, the staff will show us the route to follow and explain how to hold the lead rope so that we, the adults, can lead the pony on foot throughout the walk.
Once we’ve got the tips sorted, it’ll be time for the moment the little ones have been waiting for: their first meeting with the herd! We’ll go over to meet Barbie, Caramelo, Nube and Sunny. If we’ve brought a carrot from home, the little ones can offer it to the ponies by hand, stroke their manes and break the ice before we put on our explorer helmets.
Then, we’ll set off to enjoy a self-guided ride along peaceful, flat paths surrounded by trees. As we lead the pony by the reins ourselves at a leisurely pace, the little ones will feel like the real stars of the adventure whilst we breathe in the fresh air in the heart of nature.
Back at the centre, we’ll say goodbye to our new four-legged friends, having enjoyed a 30-minute experience full of excitement and family bonding.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is suitable for children aged 2 to 8.
Children must always be accompanied by an adult during the ride.
The organisers have very small ponies for younger children and larger ponies (between a pony and a horse) for older children.
This activity is not suitable for participants in wheelchairs or with reduced mobility.
Pets are not allowed.
Other information
Important: you will need to confirm the time and exact location of the riding centre with the organisers after booking. The time may be subject to change and Google Maps shows the wrong location.
Once you have booked, it is essential to contact the organisers via WhatsApp to receive the exact location.
The experience takes place from Tuesday to Sunday, with morning and afternoon sessions. In summer, it is also available on Mondays.
The experience requires a minimum of 3 participants per session. For larger groups, please check availability.
The riding centre has free parking.
If you’re travelling by public transport, please bear in mind that the final stretch must be covered on foot.
Accompanying guests can wait in the riding centre’s bar area whilst the ride is taking place.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is very flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 48 hours from the activity start. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
