A ride on the back of a pony, the best experience for the little ones to return home with a smile from ear to ear.
During this activity at a riding school in Simancas they will not only ride the pony, they will also share with him the whole process: from the preparation to the return to the stable. All in a small group and always guided by an expert monitor.
An hour to approach the equestrian world in a safe and fun way. Make your inner child happy too!
What we will do
We will meet at the indicated time at the riding school in Simancas, where the riding instructor will be waiting for us.
Before riding, the children will participate in the preparation of the pony: they will brush it, help to put on the equipment and learn why each step is done. It will be a fun way to get in contact with the animal and start bonding from the very beginning. During the whole process, the technician-monitor will explain in a simple and practical way how to take care of a pony and how to relate to it.
Once they are ready, it is time to ride. For about 40 minutes, the children will take a pony ride both in the arena and in the field area inside the equestrian centre. The whole experience will be done in a small group, with a maximum of 6 children, always accompanied on foot by the monitor, who will be attentive at all times so that they feel safe and have a great time.
At the end of the ride, the children will also take part in the pick-up tasks: they will remove the equipment, brush the pony again and accompany it back to the stables to say goodbye.
Thetotal duration of the activity isapproximately 1 hour.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for all children from 3 years and up to approximately 12 years of age.
No experience is necessary and it is perfect as a first contact with horse riding.
There are no particular requirements or limitations, but it is advisable to inform the instructor ofthe child's weight and height beforehand. You will receive the contact details in the booking confirmation email.

The activity is available every weekend of the year.
The activity can also be done in bad weather, as there is a fully covered riding arena on the premises.
Parents can attend the whole activity as spectators.
Dogs may be kept on a leash on the premises.
Free parking is available on site. The surrounding area can also be reached by public transport.
