A via ferrata designed to start off on the right foot... And better views.
Cross Tibetan bridges over the Isuala River, climb walls equipped with clamps and discover the pleasure of moving between rocks at treetop level. The via ferrata Peñas Juntas is level K1 and perfect for beginners or for the whole family.

What we will do
The appointment will be at the meeting point in Bierge, 10 minutes before the booking time.
Fromthere we will follow the guide by car to the point where theapproach path begins. We will walk for 20 to 30 minutes along a track and a path through vegetation until we reach the banks of the river Isuala, where the via ferrata of Peñas Juntas begins.
The activity begins with a small Tibetan bridge of 5 metres followed by a vertical wall of about 6 metres, perfectly equipped and with a double safety system. This will be the only section that is a bit more technical. Are we starting with a bit of fear? No problem, this part is perfect for gaining confidence. After that, we will find a flat section, a cliff with the help of the guide and a horizontal traverse.
The highlight comes with the three Tibetan bridges over the river, one of which is 25 metres long at treetop level. The route offers "vertiginous" views of the surroundings, but everything will be adapted to those who are new to this activity.
In the final part we will overcome two more walls, of 20 and 10 metres respectively, with the possibility of an escape route before the last stretch. We will finish the activity having completed the wholecircular route of level K1 and we will walk back to the starting point.
The total duration of the activity is approximately 2 hours, of which 1 hour is spent on the ferrata.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is level K1 and does not require experience, and is suitable for children aged 6 and over.
Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
The maximum weight for the via ferrata is 120 kg.
The experience is not suitable for pregnant women, people with severe vertigo or motor disabilities. It will be necessary to inform the guide in advance of any other injuries or medical problems. You will receive the contact details in the booking confirmation email.
Other information
The activity is available from March to November and is confirmed if a minimum group of 3 people is reached.
Before the day of the activity you will need to provide the guide with the following information: name, age, weight and height. You will receive the contact details in the booking confirmation email.
Please note that you will be in the middle of nature and there is no area to change or leave personal belongings.
It is not advisable to carry mobile phones or other electronic devices during the activity. The guide will take photos of the experience to share with all participants.
Accompanying persons who do not participate will be able to see the route from below.
Free parking is available at the meeting point . The area cannot be reached by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is moderate. You get a full refund if you cancel within 8 days from the activity start date. Within 7 and 5 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
