The Iserías via ferrata is one of the most exciting in the Aragonese Pyrenees. From Canfranc-Estación, it ascends a 410-metre wall with bridges, overhangs and even a pendulum. An aerial and technical route that demands determination and cold-bloodedness.
The effort will reward you with breathtaking views and an unforgettable high. Are you up for the challenge?
What we will do
We will meet at the agreed time at the meeting point in Canfranc-Estación. From there we will travel in our private cars to the via ferrata car park, where we will get equipped and receive the first indications about the activity.
The approach on foot will take approximately 20 minutes, after which we will find ourselves at the foot of the wall. There we will attend a complete briefing by the guide, who will explain how to use the material and how to progress safely.
We will face a vertical route of 410 metres, equipped with clamps and different aerial passages that will get your adrenaline pumping (if your legs are shaking a little, it's normal. You're human) . We will overcome an impressive 25-metre staircase that will help us overcome an overhang, cross an 8-metre monkey bridge, swing on a horizontal pendulum and, as a highlight, cross an 80-metre Tibetan bridge suspended between the walls.
The whole route runs parallel to old climbing routes, without interference, and culminates on the upper platform with spectacular views of the Canfranc valley.
The return will take about 35 minutes walking. The total duration of the activity will be about 3 hours and a half, of which at least 2 hours will be spent on the via ferrata.
Who it is aimed at
The ferrata has a K3+ level and it is advisable to be in good physical shape and have some experience in via ferrata or climbing.
Children from 12 years of age can participate and minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Important : it is not advisable to participate if you suffer from vertigo or fear of heights.
The experience is not suitable for pregnant women or people with reduced mobility and a good health condition is required. If you have any doubts about the suitability of the activity, we advise you to consult your doctor.
Other information
The activity is available from April to November.
There are no changing rooms or lockers in which to leave valuables, which you will have to leave in the car.
Accompanying persons who do not participate may attend the activity from below. Dogs may be kept on a leash.

Free parking is available both near the meeting point and in the surroundings of the ferrata. It is not possible to get there by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is moderate. You get a full refund if you cancel within 8 days from the activity start date. Within 7 and 5 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
