Parasailing over Roses Bay

Take off on a parasailing adventure in the Bay of Roses and discover the Costa Brava from a completely different perspective during a 15-minute flight. Treat yourself to a unique panoramic view of the coves and beaches in a perfect blend of adrenaline and absolute freedom.

What we will do

We’ll meet up with the team about 15 minutes before the booking time at the meeting point in Santa Margarita, Roses. We’ll board a state-of-the-art boat equipped for parasailing and, as we sail around the bay, we’ll be given a brief briefing on safety rules and how the activity works.

We’ll wait our turn whilst enjoying the cruise and, when the time comes, the instructor will help us get kitted out on the aft deck. The boat will pick up speed and… we’ll feel our feet gently lift off the water – we’ll be flying!

We’ll gradually ascend until we reach a height of 150 metres above the Bay of Roses. From the sky, we’ll experience a sense of absolute freedom as we take in the coves and beaches and the unrivalled light of the Costa Brava. At the end of the 15-minute flight, and just before landing directly on the boat, we’ll enjoy an optional, fun descent to dip partially into the water.

You can take the flight individually, as a couple or in groups of up to four people, although the skipper will have the final say depending on the conditions on the day, ensuring the safety of the experience at all times.

We’ll return to the starting point after enjoying the sea crossing alongside the other passengers.

The flight will last 15 minutes, but the full experience will take up to an hour and a half, depending on the number of participants on board.

Who it is aimed at

The experience is suitable for all ages.

Children aged 8 and over may take part, but the final decision will be made by the skipper depending on sea and wind conditions at the time of the flight. If you wish to take part with children, we recommend booking a morning slot.

Children aged between 8 and 12 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. From the age of 13 , participation is permitted with the authorisation of a legal guardian.

The maximum total weight per flight is 280 kg.

This experience is not recommended for pregnant women.

Other information

The experience is available from Easter until 1 November and is confirmed once a minimum group of 2 participants has been reached.

The activity will take place on a specialised boat adapted for parasailing, with a capacity of up to 10 passengers.

The organiser accepts no liability for any personal belongings you carry whilst taking part in the activity.

Accompanying guests who do not take part in the experience will find various amenities along the seafront promenade and on the beach. If you have pets, they will not be allowed on the beach during the bathing season.

There are free parking spaces near the meeting point, but during peak season you’ll need to arrive well in advance. It is difficult to reach the area by public transport.
