Parasailing trip off the coast of Mogán in Gran Canaria

When was the last time you looked out over the ocean from the sky? Dare to break out of your routine and experience a feeling of weightlessness that’s almost impossible to describe.

Enjoy a 5–6-minute flight — with up to three people flying at the same time — as part of a full experience lasting up to 30 minutes at Mogán Beach, where you’ll soar 150 metres above the Canarian coastline. A shared adventure that gets off to a unique start with a fun banana boat ride to the main boat, and ends by treating you to breathtaking aerial views of the island’s cliffs.

What we will do

We’ll meet at the meeting point in Playa de Mogán, Gran Canaria, about 15 minutes before the booked time. There, we’ll be welcomed, given a briefing on basic safety instructions and fitted with lifejackets. To add an extra thrill right from the start, we’ll make our way to the main boat — which is waiting for us out at sea — by hopping aboard a fun banana boat, before making an exciting transfer directly into the water.

We’ll sail across the Atlantic, enjoying the breeze as the parasail begins to unfurl at the stern. When it’s our turn, we’ll take our places on the rear platform and feel that unique flutter in our stomachs just before take-off. Suddenly, the parachute will fill with wind and, surprisingly gently, we’ll be lifted into the sky. It’s an incredible sensation: feeling ourselves rise with utter lightness whilst the boat grows smaller beneath our feet, gaining altitude comfortably until we reach 150 metres.

During the 5 to 6-minute flight, we’ll experience the perfect blend of adrenaline and absolute peace, floating above the blue sea. From the heights, breathtaking panoramic views of the entire coast of Gran Canaria, the imposing cliffs of Mogán and the silhouettes of the dunes on the horizon will unfold before us.

After enjoying this visual spectacle, we’ll descend very gently until we land back on the boat’s deck. In total, we’ll spend around 30 minutes at sea, including sailing, preparations and the flight.

Who it is aimed at

The activity is suitable for everyone aged 5 and over.

Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult or have a signed permission slip.

Up to 3 people may climb at the same time.

For safety and wellbeing reasons, this activity is prohibited for pregnant women.

It is not recommended for people with reduced mobility unless they can reach the water’s edge unaided.

Small pets are permitted provided they are securely carried in their own carrier.

The activity is available every day of the year.

The estimated flight time is 5 to 6 minutes, with the total duration of the experience on the water ranging from 30 to 45 minutes (depending on wind conditions and the final number of passengers) .

The experience takes place in a shared format, with a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 24 jet skis per trip.

The meeting point has car parking and is also accessible by public transport.

You must arrive 15 minutes before the departure time to allow for pre-flight preparation.
