There are some stunning valleys in the Pyrenees, and then there’s Chistau.
Take off on a tandem paragliding flight over this Aragonese valley and conquer one of the wildest corners of Huesca. You’ll gain altitude in thermals for 20 to 30 minutes as you fly around the peaks above Plan, Gistaín and San Juan de Plan, enjoying 360-degree views and the option to add some aerobatic manoeuvres if you’re looking for that extra bit of weightlessness.

What we will do
The pilot will meet us on time at the meeting point in Plan, Huesca, right in the heart of the Chistau Valley. After introductions, we’ll travel in his vehicle to the take-off point. It’ll be a journey of about 35 minutes uphill, which will give us a taste of the landscapes we’re about to fly over.
We’ll complete the approach with a quarter-hour walk along a flat mountain path. Once at the take-off area, we’ll help prepare the equipment whilst the pilot explains how the flight works and goes over the safety guidelines. Securely strapped in and kitted out with our harness and helmet, a short run down the slope will be all it takes to… see our feet leave the ground!
We’ll soar through the sky for 20 to 30 minutes, making the most of the thermal currents in one of the most untamed corners of the Pyrenees. We’ll fly over the stone houses of Gistaín, Plan and San Juan de Plan, enjoying a 360-degree panoramic view amongst rugged peaks, and may even share the sky with large birds such as vultures, eagles or even bearded vultures.
Those looking for an extra adrenaline rush can test the limits of gravity with some aerobatic manoeuvres before beginning a gentle descent.
We’ll land just a 5-minute walk from the original meeting point. The entire experience will last approximately 2 hours.
Who it is aimed at
No previous experience is required , and children aged 8 and over can take part.
Minors must be accompanied by an adult and have the authorisation of a legal guardian.
Participants must weigh between 30 and 120 kg.
The activity is not accessible to people with reduced mobility.
This experience is not recommended for pregnant women or people with cardiovascular conditions. If you decide to fly, you must consult your doctor and inform the pilot in advance (you will receive the contact details in the booking confirmation email).
Other information
The experience takes place between April and October, subject to weather and atmospheric conditions.
In principle, simultaneous flights are not planned; participants on the same booking will fly one after the other.
If conditions allow, you will be able to take control of the paraglider for a few moments.
Accompanying guests ( who are responsible for any pets) may remain in the meeting point area, near where the landing will take place.
It is possible to bring a companion along on the transfer with the pilot to the take-off point. This is particularly important when flying with children.
From 1 January 2027, video and photo coverage will be an optional service at an additional cost on top of the experience. Please contact the pilot for further information; you will receive their contact details in your booking confirmation email.
There is free public car park at the meeting point. It is not possible to reach the area by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is very flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 48 hours from the activity start. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
