There are a thousand ways to enjoy the sea. .. but few as epic as this one.
Paraglide over Barinatxe Beach, in Sopelana -also known as La Salvaje- and feel the thrill of floating more than 250 metres above the Bay of Biscay. For about 30 minutes you will live a unique experience, with breathtaking views of the cliffs, the Biscay Flysch and the infinite horizon, while the north wind accompanies you in every turn.
What we will do
We will meet at the agreed time at the meeting point on Barinatxe Beach, in Sopelana, one of the most spectacular spots on the Biscayan coast. Our adventure will begin right there: the take-off is very close, so we will walk together for 5 or 10 minutes along an asphalted path that climbs up to the cliff. As we gain altitude, the sound of the sea mixes with the breeze. .. and we start to feel that we are about to do something exciting.
At the flying area, the pilots will meet us for a short briefing of about 5 minutes. They will explain how the take-off and landing will be and everything we need to know to enjoy the flight safely. Then it's time to get kitted out: helmet, harness, straps. .. a couple of running steps and suddenly the ground disappears under our feet, we're flying!
For about 20 minutes we glide 250 metres above the beach, with the Atlantic stretching to the horizon. On one side, the waves break against the cliffs of the Flysch of Bizkaia; on the other, you can see the port of Bilbao, and if the day is clear, even the Urkiola Natural Park and even Mount Gorbeia, the giant of Bizkaia. We will fly alongside the occasional seagull and, if we are lucky, we will see sharks gliding under the surface of the sea. A sight that is hard to forget.
If we feel like it, the pilot can add some acrobatic manoeuvres to give an extra adrenaline rush to the flight. We will then descend gently to the sand, and return together to the meeting point, probably with the biggest smile of the day.
In total, the experience lasts approximately 30 minutes, including the preparations and the flight.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is designed for everyone, with a maximum weight of up to 110 kg.
Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
If you are a person with reduced mobility or in a wheelchair, you can take part in the activity. You just need to inform the organisers in advance. You will receive the contact details in the email confirming your booking.
The experience is not suitable for pregnant women.
If you have heart problems or any doubts about the suitability of the experience, it is recommended that you consult a doctor before taking part in the activity.

Important: the paragliding flight depends on weather conditions, so the place and time of take-off may vary. The pilot will contact you the day before to confirm the details. You will find his contact details in the booking confirmation email.
You can fly every day from March to October.
Accompanying persons and their pets can wait at the meeting point.
Paid parking is available at the meeting point. It is also possible to arrive by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
