If you thought the south of Gran Canaria was all about sun and beaches, get ready to bite the dust on terrain where the dunes give way to bare rock.
Enjoy a shared adventure lasting a total of 3 hours, setting off from Tarajalillo. Guided by an expert instructor, you’ll venture along a 100% off-road route through the rugged Barranco del Berriel, navigating dirt tracks, rocks and mountainous terrain with spectacular views. An intense yet safe buggy expedition designed to reveal the island’s wildest side.
What we will do
Our adventure begins at the meeting point in Tarajalillo, where we’ll meet 45 minutes before departure to sort out the security deposit and collect our protective gear. After a brief briefing from the instructor on the route rules and the basics of driving the buggy, we’ll settle into our seats and start the engines.
We’ll immediately set off on a 2-hour, 100% off-road circuit, leaving civilisation behind to plunge straight into the rugged Barranco del Berriel. We’ll drive along rough dirt tracks, through areas of loose stone and over technical mountain terrain that reveal the island’s wildest side, feeling the vehicle’s true traction on the area’s distinctive volcanic landscape.
During the route through the southern peaks of Gran Canaria, we’ll make two strategic stops at high vantage points. During these breaks, the guide will share details about the local geology and you’ll have time to take spectacular photographs of the panoramic views. Finally, we’ll begin the descent back down to base, bringing to a close an intense expedition lasting a total of three hours, spent in close contact with nature.
Who it is aimed at
Suitable for everyone. No previous off-road driving experience is required.
The driver must be at least 18 years old and present a valid Category B driving licence held for at least 3 years (all valid foreign licences are accepted) .
For passengers, the minimum age is 7 years and the minimum height requirement is 1. 30 metres. All minors must be accompanied by an adult in the vehicle.
For safety reasons, this experience is not permitted for pregnant women.
This activity is suitable for people with reduced mobility, who may only participate as passengers (please give advance notice when booking so that access can be arranged) .
Small pets are permitted provided they travel in their own rigid carrier.

The activity is available every day of the year.
You must present a physical credit card in the driver’s name for the security deposit.
The experience takes place in a shared format, with a minimum of 1 buggy and a maximum of 19 per session.
The meeting point has free parking for customers and is also accessible by public transport.
You must arrive at the venue 45 minutes before the departure time to allow for preparation.
The activity is subject to weather conditions.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
