Full description
Silence envelops everything and the snow glistens in the moonlight, the Sierra de Guadarrama is transformed.
Follow the trail of silver light along snowy trails on this nocturnal snowshoeing excursion. Accompanied by a mountain guide who will lead you between sleeping mountains and valleys. Just you, the moon and the sound of your footsteps on the white blanket.
A few hours to experience the mountain in a different way. A magical, unforgettable night-time experience.
What we will do
The appointment is 30 minutes before the booking time at the meeting point in Puerto de Navacerrada, the starting point of our night route through the Sierra de Guadarrama . The mountain guide will be waiting for us there, who will give us the necessary equipment (snowshoes and poles) and explain how to use them safely before starting the adventure.
With the moon as our companion and the silence of the mountain as our soundtrack, we will start walking on the snow. The guide will lead us along snowy paths and trails on a carefully studied route of about 6 kilometres and with a difference in altitude of about 300 metres. Along the way, the silvery moonlight will transform the landscape and the crunching of snowshoes will set the pace of the night in the Sierra de Guadarrama National Park.
Our objective will be to reach a small summit to enjoy the night views of the valley. There we will take a break to rest, have something to eat and contemplate the spectacle before starting the descent back down. The excursion is carried out in safe and controlled conditions, designed to be enjoyed without haste and to let yourself be carried away by the magic of the winter moon.
The total duration of the experience is approximately 3 hours.
Who it is aimed at
No experience is necessary and participation is open to children from the age of 8 years old.
Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
It is not recommended for pregnant women and people who have recently suffered injuries.
Not accessible for people with motor disabilities.
Other information
The activity is confirmed once a minimum group of 9 participants has been reached; for smaller groups, a surcharge per person may apply.
The activity is available from around December to April. Please bear in mind that this experience is highly dependent on the weather and may be subject to change. The exact location will be decided by the guide depending on snow conditions.
Dogs on a lead are permitted, but you must notify the guide in advance. You will receive the contact details in the booking confirmation email.
Accompanying guests who are not taking part can wait at the Navacerrada ski resort, which offers a range of facilities.
There is free parking at the meeting point. During the ski season, it can be difficult to find a space, so we recommend arriving well in advance.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
