Did you know that scorpions glow with ultraviolet light at night?
On this 3-hour route you will be able to see them up close, discover nocturnal birds in the shadows and end the experience with an astronomical observation under the Moralzarzal sky.
What we will do
We will meet 10 minutes before the agreed time at the meeting point in Moralzarzal, where we will start our nocturnal route. After a brief introduction, we will enter the natural environment just as the sun goes down, when many species start their activity.
We will start a short and easy walk, perfect for all ages, while we listen and look for some of the most characteristic nocturnal inhabitants of the area: eagle owls, nightjars, small birds of prey, roe deer and different invertebrates that wake up when the day ends .
We will stop for dinner in the open air (dinner not included), enjoying the peaceful atmosphere of the night. Afterwards, the most exciting part of the route will continue: the search for scorpions, which we will be able to locate with the help of the special material provided during the activity, observing them without disturbing them and discovering their curious nocturnal behaviour.
To close the experience, we will carry out an astronomical observation, in which we will identify constellations, celestial bodies and learn curiosities about the night sky of the Sierra de Guadarrama.
The activity lasts approximately 3 hours, perfect to enjoy nature from a different and fascinating perspective.
Who it is aimed at
This experience is suitable for everyone from the age of 8 years and upwards. The tour is short and simple.
Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
The activity is not suitable for people with reduced mobility and wheelchair users.

The activity is available from June to September at 21: 00.
Groups are limited to a maximum of 10 people.
Parking is available at the meeting point.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund!
