A different experience to discover the seabed in a new light. ..
Discover the biodiversity of Playa Chica, in Puerto del Carmen, with a very special snorkelling route. In the silence and calm of the night you will discover how some fish are much more active when the sun goes down.
The calmest and most surprising side of the ocean awaits you.
What we will do
The meeting point is at the dive centre in Puerto del Carmen, about 45 minutes before sunset, where the instructor will be waiting to welcome us and prepare us for the experience. We will be able to change and leave our belongings at the centre, which will remain closed while we are in the water.
We will start with a brief explanation to familiarise ourselves with the equipment, learn how to breathe easily, how to empty the mask if water gets in and how to move safely along the route. The instructor will also give us some tips on how to spot camouflaged species and explain what kind of marine life we can find at night.
When we are ready, we will walk down to Playa Chica and enter the water from the shore. With the instructor's instructions, we will follow a calm and safe route through the best areas of the surroundings. We will see how some of the fish are more active at sunset, such as octopus and angel sharks. In addition, the calm and silence of the night will allow us to better explore the surroundings.
After approximately 75 minutes in the water, we will return to the shore and end the activity. The total duration of the experience is approximately 1 hour and a half.
Who it is aimed at
The activity can be done from the age of 10 years and is suitable as a first experience of snorkelling.
Minors must be accompanied by a legal guardian.
It will be necessary to fill in a certificate of good health. The experience is not suitable for people with motor disabilities, cardiovascular, respiratory or neurological problems, etc. ... If you have any doubts about the suitability of the activity, it is advisable to consult a doctor beforehand and, in any case, inform the instructor.

The experience is available all year round.
The starting time is conditioned by the sunset so it may vary slightly.
To do the activity you need to have diving insurance, which is not included in the price. If you need it, you can take out insurance valid for 3 days at the centre itself for 20 euros.
If you have your own equipment, you can use it. If you want to use neoprene, you will have to request it previously to the instructor. You will receive the contact details in the booking confirmation email.
There are changing rooms with showers at the meeting point . The centre will be closed during the experience, so personal belongings will be kept under lock and key.
Accompanying persons not taking part in the activity can wait in the Playa Chica area.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
