Imagine the city of Segovia illuminated beneath your feet and the starry sky as a backdrop.
This balloon flight offers you a unique experience: take off before dawn and see how the city gradually awakens with the first light of day. From above, you'll watch as the dawn reveals the hidden details of the city and its architecture: the Roman aqueduct, the majestic cathedral, the imposing Alcazar...
The air currents will mark the route, gently guiding the balloon to the landing point, after which you can toast to a new day. An unrepeatable experience that will remain engraved forever in your memory.
What we will do
The appointment will be at the take-off field, located on 3 de Abril Street, very close to the General Hospital of Segovia, approximately one hour before dawn.
On arrival we will be able to see the team working on the assembly and inflation of the hot air balloon in which we will be flying. The team will welcome us and, still at night, we will be able to start boarding the balloon. Once on board the basket, the pilot will give us all the necessary information about the flight and the safety rules and will answer our questions.
Very gently we will rise between the air currents thanks to the action of the hot air inside the balloon. After an almost magical take-off we will move to different heights, gently rocked by the wind.
It will be a pleasant ride of about an hour that will give us breathtaking night views of Segovia and its surroundings. Gradually, we will begin to see the first light of dawn, while admiring architectural wonders such as the impressive Alcazar, the medieval walls, the majestic cathedral or the emblematic Roman aqueduct.
We will land shortly after sunrise, having completed a unique route at the mercy of the wind. After landing, we will complete the balloon flight ritual with a sparkling wine toast and enjoy a picnic of local products before returning to the starting point in the organisation's cars.
The total duration of the activity will be about 3 hours.
Who it is aimed at
Ballooning is a very peaceful activity in which anyone from the age of 6 can participate .
The only limitation, for safety reasons, is that pregnant women and people with osteoporosis are not allowed to fly.
Children must always be accompanied by an adult.
The flight is accessible to people with mobility problems and there are places for wheelchair users. It will be necessary to contact the organiser in advance.
People weighing more than 140 kg must also inform the organiser in advance.
Other information
The activity takes place every day of the year and will be confirmed if a minimum number of 8 participants is reached.
A few days before the flight, the organiser will send you an email with all the necessary information. In addition, you will be able to communicate the presence of people with mobility problems and any food intolerance or allergy.
It is not possible to leave your car on the take-off field itself, but you can park nearby free of charge. In addition, the organiser offers, on request, a transfer service from Madrid to the take-off point and back.
It is possible to bring a small backpack or bag, but large backpacks must be left in the organiser's car.
After the flight, the organiser will send to the booking email a flight certificate for each participant and the video and photos of the experience. It will also be possible to use phones or cameras during the flight.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
