Night in a dome under the stars in the Pre-Pyrenees of Huesca

At the foot of the Sierra de Caballera, between mountains and calm, an experience designed for unhurried stargazing awaits you.

You will sleep with all the comforts in a private geodesic dome, with views of the village of Bolea, or the Gratal peak and the Hoya de Huesca.

An ecological and self-sufficient accommodation where you can toast with local wine, look at the stars through a telescope and let time stand still for a night.

What we will do

Your experience begins in Bolea, Huesca, in a rustic plot, without adjoining houses, surrounded by almond trees and mountains at the foot of the Sierra de Caballera. Before arriving, you will receive the access codes and the exact location to check-in in autonomy from 16: 00. Your private geodesic dome will be waiting for you there, ready for a night under an incomparable sky. It can be Nabiella, with views of the village of Bolea, or Gratal, oriented towards the Gratal peak and the Hoya de Huesca. Both are spectacular.

Each dome, of sustainable design and totally integrated in the environment, has a comfortable double bed, private bathroom, fridge, electric coffee maker, and an ecological air-conditioning system that maintains the ideal temperature at any time of the year. On arrival you will find a welcome kit with tea, cocoa, milk, mineral water and a local wine to toast under the stars.

When night falls, just turn off the lights and look up: the sky of the Pre-Pyrenees will be filled with stars, planets and, with a bit of luck, even Elon Musk's famous satellites parading among the constellations. A unique spectacle that you can enjoy from your bed or from outside the dome, with a telescope at your disposal.

During the day, you can discover the charm of the area: visit Loarre Castle, the Collegiate Church of Bolea or the Mallos de Riglos, walk along paths between ravines or simply enjoy the peace and quiet and the views from your dome.

And when the time comes to return, you will leave with a clear head and the feeling of having touched the sky. Check-out is before 11: 00, with the possibility of flexible hours.

Who it is aimed at

The accommodation is designed for couples or small groups of up to 4 people.

The structure is not accessible for people with reduced mobility or wheelchair users.

Other information

The accommodation is available all year round, and offers a self-catering check-in experience from 16: 00 and check-out before 11: 00, with flexible opening hours.

Private parking is available . Not accessible by public transport.

Both domes (Nabiella and Gratal) have a double bed, full private bathroom, fridge, electric coffee machine, ecological air-conditioning and a welcome kit with tea, cocoa, milk, mineral water and local wine.

The accommodation is self-sufficient and environmentally friendly: electricity comes from photovoltaic solar energy and the water, treated and limited to 200 L per day per dome, is for domestic use (not drinking) .

Bottled water is available in each dome.

Breakfast or dinner can be ordered in advance, and in the common area you will find a gas barbecue and mini-golf.

A baby cot is provided for small children (€15), and a single supplement of €15 applies for children over 3 years old .

Wi-Fi is not available, but there is enough electricity to charge mobile phones and small devices.

On clear nights, you can enjoy the sky with the telescope available, and during the day you can explore the surroundings or receive recommendations by mail for nearby routes, viewpoints and places of interest.

Pets are allowed for a supplement of €15 per stay.
