Conquer the Lozoya Valley on two wheels.
Rent a mountain bike in Lozoya and explore the Sierra Norte de Madrid. Explore the area at your own pace for 2 hours, 3 hours or a full day.
Choose your route and start pedalling, the sierra awaits you!
What we will do
The team will meet you with all the equipment ready at the meeting point in Lozoya, in the heart of the Sierra Norte de Madrid. You will receive your mountain bike, helmet and a puncture repair kit for the group.
Once you have decided on the route you want to follow, you will set off to explore the best corners of the Lozoya Valley in complete freedom. You will cycle through unique landscapes, discovering the local fauna and flora at your own pace while enjoying a day in nature. You can head to Rascafría, cycle to the Valley of the Neanderthals or venture out on the route of the viewpoints.
You will be back at the starting point to return the equipment before the 2 hours, 30 hours or full day rental time is up .
Who it is aimed at
Children must be at least 1. 45 metres tall and be able to ride a mountain bike. Children must be able to pedal without wheels or assistance.
If you want to participate with children up to 20 kg, please check in advance the availability of seats (extra cost of 5 euros) . You will receive the contact details in the booking confirmation email.
Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
The bicycles are not accessible for people with motor disabilities.
If you are pregnant or have any medical condition that raises doubts about the suitability of the experience, please consult your doctor.
Other information
It is possible to do this activity all year round.
Bicycles can be rented for 2 hours, 3 hours or the whole day. Important: the full day will be from the opening to the closing of the centre and will have a variable duration depending on the season.
There are two models of mountain bikes, Scott and Orbea. The allocation will be based on availability.
As soon as you receive confirmation of your booking, let the guide know the height of each member of your group. You will receive the contact details in the booking confirmation email.
You will be asked to leave the ID of one of the group members as a deposit.
Non-participating companions will find services and other activities in the surrounding area.
Free parking is available near the meeting point; in high season, parking is also charged (daily rate) . Although there is a bus from Madrid that leaves from Plaza Castilla, it is not recommended.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is very flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 48 hours from the activity start. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
