Full description
Have you ever tied yourself to a giant kite and let yourself be swept away by the wind? It sounds weird... but it's incredible fun.
In Corralejo, in the north of Fuerteventura, your first kitesurfing lesson awaits you: a sport that mixes adrenaline, freedom and a touch of madness.
For 3 hours, you will learn how to handle the kite, glide across the water and, with a bit of Canarian wind, literally take your feet off the ground.
What we will do
The appointment will be at the meeting point in Corralejo (Fuerteventura) or directly at our hotel. Together we will go to the beach that offers the best conditions of the day and that suits your level, between the north and east coast of the island.
Once we arrive, we will start with a technical briefing of about 15 minutes on the beach together with the instructor. We will receive the complete equipment and start with the technical part.
The lesson starts on land, where we will learn how to control the kite, how to practice beach control, body dragging and the first water pump exercises. Then we will move on to the water, where we will continue practising the control of the kite in movement, and we will start to glide over the water with the board. The instructor will guide us step by step, adapting the rhythm to our abilities and helping us to gain confidence.
At the end of the session, there will be time to relax on the beach with refreshments and take some souvenir photos. We will then return to the starting point.
The activity will have a total duration of about 3 hours, of which 2 and a half hours will be dedicated to the class.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for children aged 12 and over. Minors can participate with an authorisation signed by a parent or legal guardian.
No previous experience is required, but it is necessary to know how to swim and not exceed 110 kg in weight.
The activity is not suitable for pregnant women or people with motor disabilities.
Other information
The activity is available all year round.
Groups are made up of a maximum of 4 people per instructor, divided by age and level.
There are no showers or changing rooms on site.
There is free parking near the meeting point, and also the possibility of being picked up directly from your hotel in Corralejo. Contact the organisers using the details you will receive in your booking confirmation email to arrange the transfer.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
