This kayak route in Loriguilla is perfect to disconnect, paddle without rushing and discover amazing places just an hour away from Valencia.
A 2-hour experience to enjoy the water, the calm and the odd splash in a group. Are you up for it?
What we will do
We’ll meet at the specified time at the meeting point on the banks of the Loriguilla reservoir. The team will be waiting there to provide us with the necessary equipment (kayak, paddles, life jacket and waterproof bag) and give us a brief explanation of paddling technique, safety rules and the planned route.
We’ll start paddling through the calm and surprisingly clear waters of the Loriguilla reservoir, surrounded by natural scenery that instils a sense of calm from the very start. The pace will be leisurely and tailored to the group, with no rush and plenty of time to enjoy every corner.
One of the most eagerly anticipated spots is the Estrecho de los Cinglos, a narrow passage between rock faces that looks like something straight out of an adventure film. What’s more, during the trip we’ll be able to explore small hidden coves, perfect for a dip, a jump into the water or simply relaxing in the sun.
Depending on the group’s pace and ability, we may be able to reach the impressive Domeño waterfall. There’ll also be time to play, cool off as a group and enjoy the experience both in and out of the kayak.
The route will be a circular one, approximately 2 km long, ideal for enjoying the surroundings at a leisurely pace and in complete safety.
The activity will last a total of 2 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is perfect for families and is recommended for ages 5 and up. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult with a signed authorisation.
Pregnant women are not allowed to participate after the second trimester.
This activity is not recommended for people with recent injuries, serious illnesses or mobility problems. If you have any doubts about the suitability of the activity, consult your doctor.

Other information
The experience is available from April to September and is confirmed subject to a minimum of 3 participants.
A few days before the activity, you will be given the exact location of the meeting point.
Important: there is usually no mobile signal at the meeting point on the banks of the reservoir .
There are double kayaks, suitable for 2 adults and a child, or single kayaks. These are sit-on-top kayaks, which makes them very stable. It is possible to do the same activity on a SUP board as an alternative ( there are 6 boards available) .
There will be no changing rooms or lockers.
Parking is available on site, but the meeting point is not accessible by public transport.
A transfer service is available from Valencia (€15 per person) , to be booked directly with the organiser once the booking has been confirmed.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is very flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 48 hours from the activity start. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
