Full description
Sail to a secret cove inaccessible by land and discover the wildest corner of the Costa Blanca!
Enjoy a 3-hour guided excursion that will take you beyond Morro de Toix to the secluded Cala Gasparet. This easy level tour is ideal for beginners looking for a real marine adventure. It combines paddling under colossal cliffs with a swim stop at an unspoilt beach of gravel and pebbles, protected by nature and with waters so clear they look like a natural swimming pool.
What we will do
We will be met 15 minutes before the agreed time at the meeting point in the Marina Greenwich Marina in Altea. After introductions, we will receive an initial briefing of about 5 to 10 minutes where we will be explained the basics of paddling, the itinerary and safety rules. Afterwards, we will receive all the necessary technical equipment - the kayak (single, double or triple depending on the booking), the paddle and the life jacket - ready to start the trip.
Once on the water, we will start the navigation leaving the harbour and passing by the beautiful Mascarat Cove. From there, we will paddle energetically towards the majestic cliff of Morro de Toix, marvelling at its spectacular vertical walls that fall straight into the Mediterranean, serving as a prelude to the great geological surprise of the route.
The most exciting moment will come when we round the tip of the cape. Once we have passed the Morro de Toix, we will receive instructions from the instructor to set course for Calpe, sailing parallel to a wild coastline until we reach the hidden Cala Gasparet, a paradise of boulders inaccessible by land where the abundant vegetation of the Sierra de Toix embraces the sea.
In this unspoilt spot, we will make a pleasant stop of about 15 or 20 minutes to enjoy a refreshing swim in amazingly calm and transparent waters. Finally, we will paddle back to the port with a relaxed mind after completing a spectacular 3-hour route.
