Between headlands, inlets and hidden beaches: this is how to explore the Rías Baixas.
This kayak route takes you along the west coast of the Illa de Arousa to the protected landscapes of the Carreirón Natural Park. Hidden beaches, rocky headlands and calm waters ideal for unhurried and free paddling. You can adapt the route to your liking: paddle as far as you want, stop when you need to and spend as much time as you want to enjoy the surroundings.

What we will do
The appointment will be at the meeting point in Illa de Arousa, 15 minutes before the booked departure. There we will be met by the person in charge of the activity, who will give us the material and the necessary instructions to follow the route.
If it is our first time, he will also explain how to handle the kayak and the main safety rules. He will also tell us how to contact him if we need help, as he can pick us up at any time in an auxiliary boat .
We will then be ready to paddle towards the Carreirón Natural Park. We will set off southwards along the west coast of the Illa de Arousa, following the itinerary marked by the guide. The complete route is about 4 km in total (there and back to the starting point), between Espiñeiro beach and Punta Banqueira, passing by Punta Quilma, Brava cove and Punta da Cruz.
In any case, we can adapt the route as we wish, deciding whether to do the whole route or just part of it, as well as the length of the stops and the time we spend paddling. We will return following the same route.
The total duration of the activity will be 4 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for all ages from 3 years old.
Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Children between 3 and 8 years old will be in a kayak between two adults.
The activity is not suitable for people with motor disabilities.
Other information
The excursion is available from May to October.
The activity is done in autonomy: the guide will not accompany you, he will only give you all the necessary indications to follow the route before setting off. However, you will be able to contact him at any time to solve any problem and there will be an auxiliary boat at your disposal.
The kayaks available can be used individually, in pairs or with a child between 3 and 8 years old as a third passenger.
If you wish, it is possible to do the same activity on a paddle surf board.
Pets are not allowed in the protected areas of the Natural Park.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
