This kayak route in Loriguilla is perfect to disconnect, paddle without rushing and discover amazing places just an hour away from Valencia.
A 2-hour experience to enjoy the water, the calm and the odd splash in a group. Are you up for it?
What we will do
The appointment is at the indicated time at the meeting point on the banks of the Loriguilla reservoir. The team will be waiting for us there to give us the necessary equipment (kayak, paddles, waistcoat and waterproof bag) and give us a brief explanation of the paddling technique, safety rules and the planned route.
We will start paddling in the calm and surprisingly clean waters of the Loriguilla reservoir, surrounded by a natural landscape that transmits calm from the first moment. The pace will be gentle and adapted to the group, unhurried, with time to enjoy every corner.
One of the most awaited points is the Cinglos strait, a narrow pass between rock walls that looks like something out of an adventure film. In addition, during the crossing we can get close to small hidden coves, perfect for a dip, jumping into the water or just relaxing in the sun.
Depending on the pace and level of the group, we will be able to reach the impressive Domeño waterfall. There will also be time to play, cool off as a group and enjoy the experience from inside and outside the kayak.
The route will be circular and will have an approximate length of 2 km, ideal to enjoy the environment without haste and in total safety.
The activity will have a total duration of 2 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is perfect for families and is recommended for ages 5 and up. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult with a signed authorisation.
Pregnant women are not allowed to participate after the second trimester.
This activity is not recommended for people with recent injuries, serious illnesses or mobility problems. If you have any doubts about the suitability of the activity, consult your doctor.
Any pathology should be communicated to the guide, you will receive the contact details in the booking confirmation email.
Other information
The experience is available all year round and is confirmed with a minimum of 4 participants.
A few days before the activity you will receive the exact location of the meeting point.
Important: normally there is no cover at the meeting point on the shore of the reservoir .
There are double kayaks, suitable for 2 adults and a child, or single kayaks. They are sit on top kayaks, which makes them very stable. It is possible to do the same activity with a SUP board as an alternative (there are 6 boards available).
There will be no changing rooms or lockers.
Parking is available on site, but the meeting point is not accessible by public transport.
A transfer service is offered from Valencia (€15 per person), to be contracted directly with the organiser once the booking is confirmed.
