Full description
If you think jet skis are only good for going round in circles off the beach, get ready to set off with a floating gastronomic destination on the horizon.
Enjoy a spectacular shared jet-ski excursion lasting around 2 hours in total, travelling from Calafat to the famous Musclarium, a unique tasting venue (not included) and floating seafood farm situated right in the heart of the Ebro Delta bay. You’ll pilot a powerful jet ski (alone or with a passenger on board) , following in the guide’s wake, combining stretches of pure speed on the open sea with an exclusive stop at a beautiful spot by the water.
What we will do
We’ll meet about 20 minutes before the scheduled time at the meeting point in Calafat, Tarragona. There , we’ll be welcomed, given our compulsory lifejackets and get everything ready before heading straight down to the moorings. The jet skis are already waiting for us at the jetty!
We’ll have a brief safety briefing lasting about 5 minutes to learn how to use the controls, get to grips with the jet skis and familiarise ourselves with the basic navigation rules. And that’s when the action begins! We’ll set off on an exciting group ride towards the Ebro Delta. We’ll ride the jet skis for 1 hour at full speed, following the guide out to the open sea until we reach the Musclarium. Once at this floating platform in the middle of the sea, the plan will be tailored to our preferences: if we’ve booked the set menu in advance, we’ll stay on to treat our taste buds to fresh oysters and mussels for just over an hour; if we’d rather not eat, we’ll make the most of the time to marvel at the views of the bay from the viewing point whilst sipping a nice cold drink.
Then, we’ll set off on the return journey with our batteries recharged, cruising for another full hour over the waves and enjoying the vastness of the sea at our own pace until we return to the home port. This brings the total experience to 2 hours and 15 minutes of pure excitement and relaxation.
Who it is aimed at
No experience is required.
To drive the jet ski, you must be of legal age or aged 16 or over and have permission from a legal guardian.
Children aged 6 and over may ride as passengers. Children aged between 6 and 15 must ride on a jet ski accompanied by a responsible adult.
You do not strictly need to know how to swim, although it is highly recommended so that you feel safe in the water.
This activity is not permitted for pregnant women.
If you have reduced mobility or use a wheelchair, you can take part in the activity by letting us know in advance so that we can prepare the jet ski accordingly. You will receive the contact details in your booking confirmation email.
Other information
The activity is available every day from June to October, provided that sea and weather conditions allow for safe navigation.
The excursion takes place in groups of a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 6 jet skis at any one time. Each jet ski can carry 2 people.
Accompanying guests who are not taking part will find facilities near the office; the area is pet-friendly.
There is free parking near the meeting point. It is also possible to get there by public transport.
Important note regarding meals: If you wish to stay for the oyster or mussel tasting menu at the Musclarium, you must notify the organisers in advance so that they can arrange your collection time from the mussel raft.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
