You can't say you know the Cantabrian Sea if you haven't ridden its waves.
Dare to step on the accelerator of a jet ski along the coast of Gijón. A 30 or 60 minute guided route that will allow you to leave behind the San Lorenzo wall to discover cliffs and hidden coves.
Feel the power of the sea and discover Gijón from a privileged perspective.
What we will do
We will meet the guide at the meeting point in Gijón Marina about 15 minutes before the start of the activity. After receiving a brief training on how to handle the bike, as well as safety and behaviour rules, we will set sail from the port while we gain confidence.
The route may vary depending on the sea conditions that day and the pace of the group. The route usually follows the San Lorenzo beach towards Peñarrubia. From there we will continue eastwards to skirt Tortuga Islet and the Twin Islands.
If the weather allows it and we move at a good pace, we will continue until we reach Estaño beach or even España beach. There we will take a break to enjoy a swim in the Cantabrian waters, with the possibility of changing drivers before heading back.
The ride will last 30 or 60 minutes, depending on the option chosen. The total duration of the activity will be between 1 hour and 1 hour and a half.
Who it is aimed at
It is not necessary to have experience with jet skis.
To participate as a driver you must be of legal age or 17 years old and have the authorisation of a legal guardian.
You can participate as a companion from 12 years of age.
The maximum total weight per jet ski is 140 kg.
The experience is not recommended for people with motor disabilities.
If you have any doubts about the suitability of the experience, consult your doctor.
Other information
The experience is available all year round and is confirmed when a minimum number of 2 bikes is reached.
There are different models of motorbikes, Seadoo and Yamaha. The allocation will be based on availability.
Halfway through the tour it is possible to change drivers if both participants meet the requirements.
Important: the driver is responsible for the motorbike and will be liable for any damage caused by collisions, knocks, misuse or not respecting the rules.
It is not possible to participate with pets. Accompanying persons who do not participate will find services at the marina.
Public parking is available in the vicinity of the meeting point , both free and for a fee, but it is advisable to arrive in advance, especially in high season. The area can also be reached by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is strict. You get a full refund if you cancel within 15 days from the activity start date. Within 14 and 8 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
