Make sure your life jacket is properly fastened and hold on tight to the handlebars. It’s time to have some fun!
And you’ll do just that by piloting a Yamaha VX jet ski from the port of Carboneras. You can get your adrenaline pumping at your own pace – even if you’re a complete beginner – by choosing between a thrilling 30-minute guided tour of the surrounding area or longer trips lasting 60 or 120 minutes, heading for Mojácar and Garrucha.
Open the throttle wide and discover the wildest side of the Levante Almeriense.
What we will do
The team will meet us at the meeting point in the seaside town of Carboneras, 30 minutes before the tour begins . Once we ’ve checked in for the activity, we’ll meet the instructor, who’ll give us an introductory briefing on how to operate the jet ski and the safety rules before we set off.
Once we’re kitted out with our lifejackets and feel comfortable on the jet ski, we’ll set off in single file from Carboneras harbour, heading off on our adventure. The itinerary will vary depending on the selected tour duration and sea conditions. In any case, we’ll set off at full throttle towards the Mojácar and Garrucha area ( it’s not possible to access the Cabo de Gata-Níjar Natural Park by jet ski) , and fun is guaranteed!
In half an hour, we’ll be able to experience the power of the Yamaha VX jet ski around Carboneras, visiting, for example, Algarrobico Beach. With a little more time, we can venture further afield and catch sight of iconic landmarks such as the Pirulico Tower or Macenas Castle from the sea.
It’ll be an adventure full of adrenaline and exploration in one of the most beautiful parts of the Levante Almeriense, after which we’ll return to the starting point.
The experience will last 30, 60 or 120 minutes, depending on the option chosen.
Who it is aimed at
You do not need a boating licence or any experience of jet-skiing.
To drive the jet ski, you must be of legal age or aged 16 or over with permission from a legal guardian.
To ride as a passenger, you must be able to reach the footrest comfortably; this requires a minimum height of around 130 cm, equivalent to a child aged 7–8. Children under 15 must ride on a jet ski accompanied by a responsible adult.
The maximum weight per jet ski is 240 kg.
It is advisable to be able to swim.
This activity is not recommended for pregnant women or people with back injuries.
People with disabilities may take part provided they feel able to carry out the activity without difficulty.

The experience is available from June to September.
You’ll be riding a Yamaha VX jet ski. Each jet ski can carry up to two people.
There are no lockers, changing rooms or showers at the organiser’s offices. You can leave your personal belongings in supervised storage. Next to the meeting point are the harbour’s public toilets, which you are free to use.
Accompanying guests not taking part in the excursion will find various facilities at the harbour and on the beach, just a few metres away. The harbour area is dog-friendly, but pets are not allowed on the beach.
There is public car park in the vicinity of the harbour. It is difficult to reach the area by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
