Are you really going to settle for exploring Bardenas Reales from ground level?
Climb aboard a light aircraft at Agua Salada aerodrome in Tudela and set off for the Navarran desert on a 45-minute flight. Accompanied by a professional pilot, you’ll be able to take the controls of the microlight whilst admiring the contrast between the River Ebro and the landforms sculpted by erosion in the Bardenas.
Feel like a pilot for a day as you soar through the skies of Navarre.
What we will do
You’ll meet the pilot at Agua Salada aerodrome in Tudela, about 10 minutes before your booked time. After introductions, you’ll break the ice with a briefing about the experience and the route, as well as the technical aspects of the light aircraft and safety guidelines.
Then it’ll be time to climb into the two-seater microlight and settle into the cockpit with dual controls: seatbelts, headsets with microphones… You’ll be ready for take-off in no time! For around 45 minutes, you’ll fly over a variety of landscapes, marvelling at the contrast between the Ribera del Ebro and the unique rock formations of the Bardenas Reales.
As this is an open route, you’ll be able to decide on the itinerary together with the pilot, depending on your interests and, above all, the weather conditions. During the flight, you’ll also be able to take the controls and , following the pilot’s precise instructions, experience the real sensation of flying a light aircraft.
When you land back on the aerodrome’s runway, you’ll feel as though you’ve just woken from a dream. A dream you can revisit whenever you like thanks to the souvenir video included.
The activity will last a total of 60 minutes.
Who it is aimed at
No experience is necessary; it’s ideal for anyone wanting to experience their first light aircraft flight.
A minimum age of 5 years is recommended for flying. Minors require signed authorisation from a legal guardian.
The maximum weight for participants is 115 kg.
People with reduced mobility can board the light aircraft with assistance. It is recommended that you inform the pilot in advance of any mobility issues. You will receive the contact details in the booking confirmation email.

You’ll fly in a two-seaterTecnam P92 microlight with dual controls.
At the aerodrome, there is a designated area where accompanying guests who are not taking part in the experience can wait. Pets on a lead are permitted in this area.
There is free parking at the aerodrome. It is not possible to reach the area by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
