If the sea from the shore is already captivating, you can't imagine what awaits you when you discover everything that goes on in there.
Dive into the volcanic waters of La Lajita, in Fuerteventura, in a one and a half hour experience guided by experts, where you will stop being a spectator and become the protagonist of an underwater world full of life and colour. With full equipment you will dive for 20 to 40 minutes among corals and schools of fish in an adventure that will change forever the way you see the ocean.
What we will do
We will meet at the agreed time at the meeting point on the beach of La Lajita, where the team of instructors will greet us to welcome us. After introductions, we will spend the first 20 minutes on essential theoretical preparation: we will learn how the equipment works, how to communicate underwater and the safety tricks to make us feel totally confident. There is no rush; the aim is that we enter the water relaxed and with zero nerves.
Once equipped from head to toe, we'll walk straight from the sand into the sea. There are no boats or complicated jumps; we will gradually dive into the crystal clear waters of Fuerteventura for about 20 to 40 minutes (depending on what you choose when you book) until we reach a depth of between 5 and 7 metres. By maintaining a ratio of one instructor to 2 people, we will enjoy constant, personalised supervision as we glide over a fascinating volcanic landscape.
Below the surface, time seems to stand still. We'll explore coral formations and swim among vibrant schools of local fish; if we're lucky, we'll even witness the graceful swim of a stingray crossing the bottom. After approximately 1. 5 hours of experience (including preparation and dive) , we return to shore to remove our equipment and take in the indescribable feeling of breathing under the sea for the first time.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for children aged 8 and over.
Children must always be accompanied by an adult.
It is essential to know how to swim in order to participate.
Good general health is required. It is not suitable for people with respiratory or cardiovascular problems or mental pathologies (such as anxiety or panic) .
It is compulsory to fill in a medical questionnaire which will be sent to you before the activity.
In case of reduced mobility, it is necessary to contact in advance so that the organisers can assess the viability of the activity.
Not suitable for pregnant women.

The experience takes place every day with morning and afternoon departures.
It is carried out in groups of maximum 8 people (with one instructor for every 2 people) .
There is a free transfer service on request for those staying between Morro Jable and Gran Tarajal. You can request it through the contact details in the booking confirmation email.
At the meeting point there are lockers for personal belongings and a changing area, although there are no showers.
If you want a special souvenir, you can hire photos and videos by paying an extra fee directly to the organisers.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
