What would you do if Europe's most elusive feline passed right in front of you?
In this experience of up to 7 hours you will access a hide in the middle of the Mediterranean forest to try to observe and photograph the Iberian lynx, an animal as fascinating as it is difficult to see in the wild.
What we will do
We will meet 10 minutes before the agreed time at the meeting point in Andújar, Jaén, where we will be welcomed and given the necessary instructions before entering the hide, a small hide designed for observing and photographing animals without being seen. They will explain the basic rules - silence , do not approach the glass, keep your mobile phone in discreet mode and do not go out without authorisation - to guarantee the tranquillity of the environment and facilitate the appearance of the lynx.
We will then make the transfer to the hide, located in an area where the Iberian lynx usually passes through the Mediterranean forest. It is a place that the lynx frequently use to move around, patrol their territory, hunt or stop to drink at the nearby pond, one of the most interesting observation points.
On arrival, you will be escorted to the hide and helped to settle in. The hide has a large window with spy glass, which will allow us to observe the lynx without it noticing our presence. Once inside, the most exciting part begins: waiting in silence for the feline to appear. If it decides to cross the area, approach the pond or move between the forest clearings, we will be able to photograph it in different attitudes: walking, stalking, resting or guarding its territory.
We will stay in the hide for approximately 7 hours, an optimal time to coincide with the moments of activity of the lynx and increase the chances of sightings. At the end, the organisers will return to accompany us back to the meeting point in Andújar.
Who it is aimed at
This experience is designed for all nature and photography lovers, both beginners and more advanced photographers.
Suitable for children over 8 years old. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Thanks to the vehicle access and the stable hide, people with reduced mobility and wheelchair users can participate.

The activity is available from October to May. It is confirmed with 1 participant.
Groups are limited to a maximum of 5 people.
Parking is available at the meeting point.
The experience is not guided, but you can optionally add a wildlife guide for a supplement of 50 €.
The organisers will send you all the detailed information about the activity 48 hours before the booked date.
Pets are not allowed.
Subject to nature conditions: lynx sighting cannot be guaranteed.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
