Full description
Between country roads, open horizons and the silhouette of Granada in the background, you will discover that the countryside is best experienced on horseback.
Enjoy a 1 hour ride in the surroundings of Las Gabias, accompanied by specialised instructors and docile horses, perfect for those who are riding for the first time. A simple, safe and scenic ride.
What we will do
We will meet 10 minutes before the agreed time at the finca in Las Gabias, Granada. On arrival, the monitors will welcome us and explain how the activity will take place. We will meet the horses - docile, calm and very easy to handle - and we will put on our helmets before we start.
The experience begins with a brief explanation of about 15 minutes, where we will learn the basics of safe riding: how to hold the reins, how to keep our balance and how to communicate to the horse what we want to do.
Afterwards, we will begin a 1 hour horseback ride through the fields surrounding the estate, on a gentle and accessible route for beginners . We will ride along country roads with sweeping views towards Granada and Montevive, an area known for being home to the most important strontium mine in Europe. Along the way it is also common to see rabbit holes and foxes, as well as enjoying the silence and calm of the surroundings.
The pace is calm and always accompanied by a qualified instructor, who will ensure the safety of the group and will show us how to improve our posture and handling of the horse.
We will return to the farm after approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes between explanation and ride, with the sensation of having enjoyed the Granada countryside in a relaxed, safe and very special way.
Who it is aimed at
This experience is designed for people over 18 years old who want to enjoy a quiet ride in the countryside.
The activity is easy, ideal even if it is your first time on horseback.
To participate, you only need not exceed 100 kg in weight.
Pregnant women, people with reduced mobility or in wheelchairs can participate, but at their own risk.

The activity is available all year round, from Monday to Sunday, between 10: 00 and 17: 00 (approximate times may vary depending on bookings) .
There is free parking in the area.
Groups are open groups, with a maximum of 12 participants.
Accompanying persons not taking part in the activity can wait on the farm.
Pets are not allowed.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
