Enjoy a guided horseback ride along the Jarama river, between nature trails and fresh air. Choose when booking whether you prefer a 1 or 2 hour route and discover the natural surroundings of Fuente el Saz de Jarama at a relaxed and safe pace.
What we will do
We’ll meet 10 minutes before the agreed time at the meeting point in Fuente el Saz de Jarama, Madrid. On arrival, the qualified instructor will welcome us, help us put on our helmets and show us where to leave our belongings before we start.
The horses will already be ready, and before mounting, we’ll receive a brief, basic briefing, where we’ll learn how to turn, keep our balance and follow the safety rules.
When booking, you can choose between a 1-hour or a 2-hour horse ride. In both cases, the route follows natural paths alongside the River Jarama, taking a gentle circular route, accompanied at all times by the instructor.
The 1-hour ride is perfect for a first experience with the horse and the surroundings. The 2-hour option follows the same route but is extended so you can enjoy the scenery and the tranquillity of the natural surroundings for longer. Please note that if you choose the 1-hour route, the itinerary does not go down to the river. The only way to reach the water and ride that section is by booking the 2-hour route.
The pace is always relaxed and designed for beginners, allowing you to enjoy the company of the horses, the riverside setting and the great outdoors in one of the most pleasant natural areas in the north of Madrid.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for children aged 10 and over.
Minors can participate accompanied by a responsible adult.
This route is an easy level, ideal even if it is your first time on horseback.
To ensure the well-being of the horses, the maximum weight allowed is 100 kg.
Pregnant women, people with reduced mobility or in wheelchairs should contact the centre in advance to assess the experience and coordinate the activity. In other cases, it is recommended to consult your doctor.
Other information
Important: Please note that if you choose the 1-hour tour, the route does not go down to the river. The only way to reach the water and complete that section is by booking the 2-hour tour.
The activity is available all year round from Tuesday to Sunday.
Groups are small, with a maximum of 6 participants per group.
Parking is available on site .
The meeting point is also accessible by public transport.
Pets are allowed, provided they are kept on a lead.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
