Enjoy a guided horseback ride along the Jarama river, between nature trails and fresh air. Choose when booking whether you prefer a 1 or 2 hour route and discover the natural surroundings of Fuente el Saz de Jarama at a relaxed and safe pace.
What we will do
We will meet 10 minutes before the agreed time at the meeting point in Fuente el Saz de Jarama, Madrid. On arrival, the qualified instructor will welcome us, help us to put on our helmets and tell us where to leave our belongings before we start.
The horses will be ready, and before riding, we will receive a brief basic explanation, where we will learn how to turn, keep our balance and follow the safety rules.
During the booking, you can choose between a 1 hour or 2 hour horse ride. In both cases, the route runs along natural paths next to the Jarama River, following a circular and quiet route, always accompanied by the monitor.
The 1 hour ride is perfect for a first contact with the horse and the environment. The 2 hour option follows the same route, but the route is extended to enjoy the scenery and the calm of the natural environment for longer.
The pace is always relaxed and designed for beginners, enjoying the contact with the horse, the river environment and the open air in one of the most pleasant natural areas in the north of Madrid.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for children aged 10 and over.
Minors can participate accompanied by a responsible adult.
This route is an easy level, ideal even if it is your first time on horseback.
To ensure the well-being of the horses, the maximum weight allowed is 100 kg.
Pregnant women, people with reduced mobility or in wheelchairs should contact the centre in advance to assess the experience and coordinate the activity. In other cases, it is recommended to consult your doctor.

The activity is available all year round from Tuesday to Sunday.
Groups are small, with a maximum of 6 participants per group.
Parking is available on site .
The meeting point is also accessible by public transport.
Pets are allowed, as long as they are kept on a leash.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
