Discover the changing beauty of Caniles on a route designed to connect with nature.
Be amazed by an environment where horses live in semi-freedom and enjoy a 1-hour experience along the historic Vía Verde and the Guadalopón riverbed. Cross the iron bridge, breathe the scent of rosemary and contemplate the views of the Sierra de Baza in an adventure suitable for everyone in the rural heart of Granada.
What we will do
We will meet 15 minutes before the agreed time at the meeting point in Caniles, Granada. As soon as you arrive, you will be surrounded by the familiar atmosphere of the farm, where the horses live in a state of semi-freedom that makes them sociable and calm. The organisers will give us a warm welcome and hand us our safety helmet, making sure that it is perfectly adjusted before helping us to get into the saddle.
Before setting off, they will explain some basic notions: we will learn how to turn, brake and handle the reins in a simple way. If the horses are not saddled when we arrive, we can take part in preparing them and even groom them to create a special bond with them from the very first moment!
Once the group is ready, we will start a 1 hour circular route full of contrasts. We will walk along the Vía Verde and get close to charming places such as the historic Puente de Hierro (Iron Bridge). We'll cross the Guadalopón river (flow permitting) and enter more arid landscapes where the scent of rosemary and views of the Sierra de Baza will accompany us. Keep your eyes open, because it is very common to see rabbits along the route.
Once the group is ready, we will start a circular route full of contrasts. We will walk along the Vía Verde and we will approach charming places such as the historic Puente de Hierro (Iron Bridge). We will cross the Guadalopón river (flow permitting) and enter more arid landscapes where the scent of rosemary and views of the Sierra de Baza will accompany us. Along the way, keep your eyes peeled, as it is very common to come across rabbits and other animals that live freely in this environment.
At the end, we will return to the starting point after completing this 1 hour of authentic connection with nature.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for beginners. No previous experience is required.
The minimum age to participate is 3 years old. Children must always be accompanied by an adult.
For the welfare of the animals, the maximum weight allowed is 100 kg.
This activity can be adapted for people with reduced mobility or in wheelchairs; you must let the organisers know in advance so that they can prepare everything necessary.

The activity is available all year round. It is necessary to contact the organisers to confirm the exact timetable, as it may vary.
The tour is confirmed with at least 1 participant and groups can be up to 10 people.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund!
