Breathing the countryside, riding a horse and closing with an aperitif. .. This is the way to enjoy Toledo!
Disconnect in the middle of nature, just a few minutes from the city, with a 1 hour and 15 minute horseback ride through the Montes de Toledo, and if you wish, add a tasting of cold meats and a drink to complete the experience without rushing.
What we will do
We will meet punctually at the meeting point in Guadamur, just 10 minutes from the centre of Toledo. On arrival, the qualified instructor will welcome us and tell us what the experience will be like. The horses will be ready and waiting for us to start.
Before riding, we will have a brief introduction, where they will explain in a simple way how to communicate with the horse and the basic rules to enjoy the ride safely. We will put on our helmets, answer any questions and, little by little, we will get into the rhythm of the experience, even if it is our first time on horseback.
When everything is ready, we will start our 1 hour and 15 minutes horse ride, going straight out into the countryside. The route takes us through the Montes de Toledo, riding along country lanes between olive trees, holm oaks and rosemary, in a landscape of gentle hills and Mediterranean forest. The pace is calm and steady, ideal for relaxing, observing the surroundings and enjoying the contact with the horse. With a bit of luck, we may see a rabbit crossing the path or simply let ourselves be carried away by the calm of the countryside.
Depending on what we have chosen during the booking, we can enjoy a tasting of cold meats that will take place at the riding school before or after the ride, depending on the group's preference. The aperitif includes wine or soft drink, cheese, ham and cold meats, and can be enjoyed without rushing, as a moment to relax, or to end the experience on a high note.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone, including children from 6 years old, who can ride guided by the monitors.
Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
No previous experience is necessary; the route is calm and suitable for beginners.
To ensure the welfare of the horses, the maximum weight allowed is 100 kg.
The activity is not recommended for pregnant women or people with reduced mobility.

The activity is available all year round, from Monday to Saturday.
Groups are small, with a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 4 participants.
Free parking is available at the meeting point. It is not possible to reach the meeting point by public transport.
Pets are not allowed.
Charcuterie tasting is optional and is selected at the time of booking. It includes: wine or soft drink, cheese, ham and charcuterie. Options for food intolerances are available, please let the organisers know in advance. You will receive contact details in the booking confirmation email.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
