A horseback ride through the vineyards, an award-winning winery and a glass in your hand. This is how to enjoy the Penedès as it deserves to be enjoyed.
Combine a 1-hour horseback ride through the vineyards with a guided tour and wine tasting of approximately 2 hours and 45 minutes at the award-winning Miquel Jané winery. A complete experience that unites nature, culture and wine in a single day.
What we will do
We will meet 15 minutes before the agreed time at the meeting point in Font-rubí, in the heart of the Penedès. There we will begin a day combining wine, nature and horses in a unique setting.
We will start the morning with a visit to the vineyards, where we will learn about viticulture directly in the field and discover how the climate, the soil and the local varieties influence the character of the Penedès wines. Afterwards, we will visit the Miquel Jané winery while the oenologists explain the winemaking and ageing process of their wines.
Then comes the most awaited moment: a guided tasting of 4 wines -white , rosé, red and cava- produced in the winery itself and endorsed with international awards, accompanied by a small snack with local products. In total, this complete experience between vineyard, winery and tasting lasts approximately 2 hours and 45 minutes.
After the visit, we will go to the nearby equestrian centre, with more than 25 years of experience in the equestrian world. There we will meet the horses, which are calm, docile and suitable for beginners, put on our helmets and do a brief preparation before riding.
We will then begin a horseback riding route of approximately 1 hour through vineyards, country roads and gentle hills of the Penedès. The equestrian guide will accompany us throughout the route, which offers a spectacular panoramic view of the wine-growing landscapes and the tranquillity of the Catalan countryside.
On our return, we will end the day with the sensation of having lived a complete experience: culture, nature and wine in perfect harmony. In total, 3 hours and 45 minutes of learning, landscapes and enjoyment for all the senses.

The minimum recommended age is 18 years old. However, minors may be accompanied by a responsible adult.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund!
