Full description
Your favourite person, a horseback ride and a snack at the foot of Pedraforca. Can you think of a better plan?
During this route as a couple you will ride along rural trails on the back of a horse, after having prepared it with care. You will ride through forest tracks and mountain views, stopping for a snack and enjoy a drink, admiring the scenery without rushing.
A quiet and different experience to share at a slow pace. Are you going to miss it?
What we will do
The appointment will be 10 minutes before the booked time at the equestrian centre in Saldes, in the heart of Berguedà. There we will be met by the guide who will accompany us throughout the experience.
Before starting the ride, we will dedicate some time to the important phase of bonding with the horses. We will brush them, help groom them and learn the essentials to guide them safely. Afterwards, we will do a few laps in the arena to gain confidence, listening to the riding instructor's instructions.
Once ready, we will ride in pairs along 3 km of forest tracks through fields, gentle slopes and dirt tracks with views of Pedraforca and Cadí-Moixeró. We will also have time to rest and enjoy a snack with a drink and a snack, in a quiet environment with a taste of disconnection.
The walk will be relaxed, ideal for sharing a special moment in the middle of nature. The guide will accompany us on foot throughout the tour, or on horseback if we have experience.
The activity has a total duration of approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes, with 45 minutes on horseback.
Who it is aimed at
This is an activity for people with no horse riding experience and can participate from the age of 4 years old.
Children must be accompanied. Otherwise, a responsible adult will have to accompany them on foot during the route.
The activity is not suitable for pregnant women or people with motor disabilities. It is also not recommended for people with heart conditions, back or hip problems. If you have any doubts about the suitability of the activity, we advise you to contact your doctor.
It is strictly forbidden to do the activity under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
It is necessary to inform the guide before the activity of the weight, height and level of experience of the participants. This way they will be able to prepare a suitable horse. You will receive the contact details in the booking confirmation email.
Other information
The activity is available all year round and is confirmed when a minimum of 2 participants is reached.
Accompanying persons who do not participate may wait on the premises of the equestrian centre. Dogs may also be kept on a lead.
Free parking is available for participants on the premises of the riding school. The area is very difficult to reach by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is moderate. You get a full refund if you cancel within 8 days from the activity start date. Within 7 and 5 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
