A quiet valley, mountains that outline the horizon and a village that looks like something out of a postcard. This is how this Andalusian horseback ride in Randa begins.
After preparing your horse and a brief introduction to the track, you'll set off to ride through hills and country lanes, with your instructor always at your side. The route is simple, with a final stretch that raises the pulse a little and plenty of scenery to enjoy.
A quiet activity and very connected with nature. Ideal for getting to know the rural heart of Mallorca. Are you up for it?
What we will do
We will meet 10 minutes before the start time at the farm located in the Randa Valley, a rural corner surrounded by nature in the heart of Mallorca.
As soon as we arrive, we will be met by the team and given the helmet and the necessary equipment. After choosing the most suitable horse according to the level of each person, we will enjoy 30 minutes of contact , brushing and preparing them. Then, we will work for another half an hour in the arena. There, the riding instructor will give us the basic instructions on how to handle the horse if it is the first time, or let us get into the rhythm if we already have experience. After this first part of the activity, we will be in perfect harmony with our animal.
With confidence and enthusiasm, we will set off riding through the rural roads of the valley and the village of Randa, a beautiful area of meadows and holm oak forests. We will follow a route of about 6 to 8 kilometres with views of the hillsof Puig de Randa, Puig de ses Bruixes or Puig de Castellitx. A final climb will give a touch of excitement to the experience, always with the instructor guiding the group from his own horse and taking souvenir photos.
We will be back at the farm after an hour and a half of riding. But the experience does not end here: we will help wash and brush the horses, accompany them to the stables and feed them. We will close the experience sharing a refreshment, the perfect moment to discuss the adventure and relax in the open air.
The whole activity will last a total of 3 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone from 7 years old. Children under 7 years old can participate only if they already have riding experience.
Children between 7 and 11 years old must be accompanied by a responsible adult. From 12 years old it is possible to do the activity with an authorisation.
The maximum weight per participant is 110 kg. We advise you to communicate your weight to the equestrian team before the activity. You will receive the contact details in the booking confirmation email.
The activity is not suitable for pregnant women or people with back problems or disabilities.
Other information
The ride is available all year round.
Accompanying persons not participating in the excursion can wait at the riding club's social club or go for a walk in the village (150 metres from the facilities). Dogs may be kept on a lead.
The saddle used is English. If you have experience with another type of saddle you can request it.
During the activity the instructor will take photos which you can receive by phone at the end of the ride.
There is free parking on the premises of the riding club. It is possible to reach the villages of Algaida and Llucmajor by public transport, from there the pick-up service is free on request.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
